I’ve now had two separate experiences with BMW Ruislip, and unfortunately both were poor. On my first visit, the issue with my car wasn’t handled properly, which eventually led me to raise a formal complaint with BMW due to the lack of resolution and poor communication. I decided to give them a second chance, but the experience was just as disappointing. The car was booked in for an oil change, which was carried out, but: • The service was not recorded on the iDrive • The service interval / mileage was not reset • When the car was still showing “oil service due in 7,000 miles” When I queried this, the staff appeared uninterested and told me they wouldn’t reset it, suggesting it was because it wasn’t a “full service” (which makes no sense after an oil change). No effort was made to explain properly or correct the issue. Overall, the attitude felt dismissive, the attention to detail was lacking, and basic expectations were not met. I won’t be returning.

Dropped the car on Thursday as service was due on Friday. Left multiple message ad no response - Even Main Office sent message for a call back - No Response. Had to go to branch on Saturday before it closes down and nothing was done. Would have been nice, to at least return calls rather than make me run around without car. In response your reply: Typical Response - Should your management be not calling me to address the issue. Now it becomes my responsibility to chase you to address the concerns and also advice you how to improve.

Had car in to the garage as one mirror didn’t heat up - and after 2 days I got car back last week (23rd September). I was Charged for parts and diagnostics (£303). Today was first day with rain. And turns out fault is still there - mirror is not heating up. Did they repair the mirror at all? Just took the money and kept the car for two days? Or if they did try to repair it, then why did they not check that it was working before giving the car back? Easy to check - just spray some water on the mirror and have the engine running. And check if the water dries up. From the attached photos it is easy to see that one mirror is still wet and the other dry - after driving locally for 20 minutes. They don’t even deserve one star for handing back a car with the same issue - having charged for diagnostics and part and repair.

I recently booked in for a service at BMW Ruislip service centre. The service went smoothly, and minor issues identified by the technicians via a video were dealt with promptly. I would like to thank my service advisor Sahana for her exceptional customer service, politeness and professionalism. She showed genuine care in ensuring my car was taken care of appropriately. Sahana exceeded expectations as she kept me informed and updated on my cars progress, and was both knowledgeable and confident when I had anything to ask. I would also like to thank Sharon at reception who worked alongside Sahana for her patience, politeness and help whilst assisting me. A major credit to Sahana, Sharon and the team. I would highly recommend BMW ruislip and will be returning based on my experience.

Great service! They helped me by rescheduling my service appointment a day earlier as I wasn't able to keep my original appointment. Also, provided a free car wash. It's more costly than other car services, but we know it's BMW. If they had a separate waiting room that would be better as it can get crowded and noisy with other customers being serviced in the same area.

Highly disappointed with the services. 1: While booking the major service for my vehicle, I was told that it will take 2 hours to finish and I can wait while the work is being done. Once I reached, the representative told me that, it will take min 3 hours so no point in waiting. So I went home. I kept waiting for 4+ hours, but didn't received any update. I had to call them to confirm the status. It took 5+ hours to my vehicle serviced. 2: When I reached to collect my vehicle, the car was not cleaned properly and when I asked the representative about the same, this was his response (in a very rude manner): "We don't clean the vehicle from inside properly, the washing guys have to wash 40+ cars daily, so we don't do the cars from inside properly and we have been doing the same for years." How on earth, someone can give such a response after charging a hefty amount of 500+ pounds. This is the first time I have heard someone saying that we don't clean the vehicles properly in a major service. Somehow, they have achieved a good rating and my 1 negative comment won't make a huge impact, but still trying to share my honest experience. Attaching a few pics.

It’s a service centre so if your cars running fine and needs a bit of TLC Barons Ruislip works. But for diagnostics and faults, it’s a massive disappointment! Been a customer for more than 6 years and spent literally thousands of pounds with these guys but no acknowledgment. Took my car in for an oil check, first the car says minimum oil, top up and then when topped up by just a litre as the warning message said it says oil over maximum. The staff (patronising at best) at Barons Ruislip say there’s no record of the oil warning and hence I have to pay for the oil change! Almost as if I woke up one day and decided I want to overfill my car with oil!! Then again no empathy from the staff nor assurance that they will investigate further if need be. Kept the car for 2 days, no courtesy cars offered and a fault with the radio buttons not found nor fixed. And this is with a car that’s under manufacturer warranty. As I said if you need diagnostic and fault repair, you may be disappointed. And yes do take photos of all fault messages else the staff won’t believe you!

Easy booking online through the BMW app. Arrived and had some very useful self check-in system which was great and easy to use. Communication was good to keep me updated. Was a long time to complete the service, as booked an early morning slot, if done quicker would have 5*. Cannot comment on price as is a lease vehicle. Thanks team

I have been using this BMW place for the last 5 years, since I have been having my services, within warranty and now MOT s etc. The guys on the desks are v good, the mechanic was brilliant last year. This year, again was great, only difficulty was the length of time I was there waiting. I feel like people were overbooked quite considerably this year and I waited for 4 hours. But, I opted out of the car wash eventually, and my serviceprice was reduced a little. Otherwise , can't complain, the guys are professional, attentive and I would recommend their services.
