I can highly recommend Surrey Autos for their great workmanship at reasonable prices. I recently got my car cambelt changed here. To get the best deal, I got quotes from various car garages highly recommended on internet forums. The only exception was Buckingham VW Audi (main car dealer) with no recommendation on any of the posts I came across. Interestingly, some of the backstreet independent garages charge so much more than the main car dealer/garages. For a rough comparison, these are the quotes including vat in descending order I got for changing genuine Cambelt with water pump: Hardings: £650 Arthurbridge garage: £499 Bentleys: £474 Buckingham VW Audi £449 Ony Motor Garage £340 Surrey Autos £300 As expected, all the work done at these garages come with standard warranties. Keep up the good work!
Suspect - was work done? I had a service and agreed to new brake pads. When I had my MOT a month later they pads were noted as already wore. Also pretty sure they scratched up a tire that had no previous damage. Cannot prove it but I would avoid, might be cheaper but Halfords etc are not trustworthy.
I found Surrey Autos in April 2017 after moving to the area and needing MOT and Servicing for my Ford Focus and Mondeo. First impressions were not so good but the courtesy and overall service turned out to be magnificent and reasonably priced. Subsequently my Focus broke down with an Alternator failure and the RAC got me to Surrey Autos late in the day but this was not a problem and the replacement unit was promised for the next day - and delivered. Now in December the Alternator failed on my Mondeo and I called late afternoon and was told - "no problem" bring it in (it was still drive-able locally on battery power) and we'll carry out the replacement work the next day (the day before the pre-Christmas weekend) - all done - what could be better than that. ! I'm pleased I found such a welcoming and quick turnaround garage and would recommend their services to everyone.
Good, Friendly and reliable place to take your car for repair. Reasonable price, does the work needed doing rather than giving you a long list of work with big bill at the end. I will recommend anyone living around Woking and surrounding. Recent job they done it again. Great service Good people to take your car to, change my car flywheels same day even being very busy, just because I was due to travel far next day they made time to help me out. Thank you guys.
