   I had an unexpected breakdown on the motorway and was towed to SPM on a Friday night without prior warning. Despite the unplanned arrival, Steve and team handled things brilliantly! The symptom was a significant amount of smoke from the exhaust and a drivetrain error - the AA couldn’t pinpoint what might be causing it. The team carried out exploratory work to find the issue and kept in contact throughout, the bill was very reasonable considering the amount of diagnostics required to find the issue. The car is now back and driving like a dream. Highly recommend Steve and team for expertise, honesty and customer service - will be continuing to use them going forward.

   Just brilliant! Always a great experience over many years; sorted my old 320D exhaust problem with some cost-effective welding rather than going the easy route and fitting a whole new £1400 new DPF in the past (which BMW and others undoubtedly would have done); SPM saved me replacing all my shock absorbers contrary to BMW advice, and fixed numerous other recent issues rapidly, and all at a very fair price. Just today when picking up my car another customer was singing SPM's praises for identifying and sorting an electrical problem that other garages had failed to fix, despite them charging not to fix it. I have absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending SPM. Cheers, Tom

   Steve & the team diagnosed an ongoing issue with my XKR and have resolved several other issues that were picked up during a service. Really pleased with the workmanship & the communication while they had my car & will certainly be using them again.Highly recommend for Jaguar or any classic car servicing or repairs.

   Some mechanics run through a check list replacing every item for new until the problem goes away. Real mechanics (like this guy) use their years of knowledge to identify the cause of the problem and fix it Have a difficult car - when other garages were quoting hundreds of pounds for numerous new sensors this he found the problem and quickly fixed it a reasonable price. Definitely five star.
