I recently visited Kwik Fit for an MOT and was informed that my headlight was loose. Upon inspection, I found it to be quite loose, although I had not noticed this prior to dropping off the car. Despite my assurance that I had not left the vehicle in such a state, they informed me that a repair was necessary. I then took the car to another garage recommended by a friend, where the spare part was promptly ordered and replaced. When I returned to Kwik Fit for a re-evaluation, I was informed that the vehicle had failed the MOT again due to the same issue. This seemed unusual, as I had inspected the newly installed part myself and it was not loose prior to drop off. Upon my request, the mechanic demonstrated the issue by forcefully pulling the headlight, making it appear loose. I expressed my surprise, as the headlight had just been repaired. Believing their assessment, I returned to the other garage, where the mechanic discovered that the headlight had been deliberately dislodged. They quickly re-tightened the brackets. I then inquired whether it was standard procedure to forcibly test a headlight during an MOT, to which they responded it was not. Returning to Kwik Fit, I requested to be present during the light inspection, concerned that damage was being inflicted by their staff. The receptionist dismissed my concerns with a smirk, but eventually allowed me to observe the inspection after nearly an hour. The mechanic gently touched the light and declared it was now fine. I informed him that the previous issue had been caused by his improper handling of the light, which was not standard procedure. He then raised his voice and waved an object in his hand, later flashing it in my face and stating it was "just a light." I asked him to leave, as his aggressive behaviour was unacceptable, particularly towards a lone female in a dark car park. He proceeded to blame me for the issue and imply that I was either lying or had caused the problem myself. I subsequently contacted their head office to file a complaint, but I remain sceptical about any resolution. It is disheartening that in this day and age, such aggressive and threatening behaviour can be displayed towards a customer. I fear this may be a standard practice employed to dismiss individuals based on their gender. Consequently, I will never return to this garage and strongly advise others to avoid it as well.

Second time I had to visit a Kwik Fit this year. First time was in Liverpool and now in Surbiton. Service here was again top notch and 5 star quality. John at the desk provided great customer service. Very attentive and great communication. Highly recommend this place for any car repairs!

Polite prompt and professional service throughout. Dealt with by Chris at Reception who was polite and ensured my car was dealt with and fixed within a 24hour window. Excellent ongoing communication and prompt pick up the following day with an excellent motor vehicle report. Would completely recommend.

Excellent troubleshooting of the vehicle defect. Parts obtained very quickly and car was serviceable in a very short time. Would not hesitate to use the Surbition branch of Kwik-Fit again. They have always provided an honest 5 star service over the years Iβve used them.

I had a good experience here. My car failed itβs MOT as one of the tyres had a bubble in it. They showed me and it was clear there was. They booked me in for the repair and retest straight away and offered to fix it the next day. However I was unavailable and they worked around my schedule. My new tyre cost Β£84 for a ford KA. The man working at the desk is friendly and helpful.

Very impressed with the service I received today. I went for a problem with my brakes that they fixed but my car was still making some noises so I called back and they told me to come back straight away, They checked the noise with me and discovered that it came from the air filter which wasnβt fixed properly from certainly my recent MOT in another garage. Chris fixed it straight away for me with no extra cost. Thank you again and I will definitely come back.

Brilliant customer service. Iβd got a flat tyre in a run flat whilst visiting my mother in law and had to travel back to the midlands that day. The guy who spoke to me was polite and put me at my ease ensuring they would get it done whenever I managed to get down.

I would like to thank the team for the excellent service I received. I went in for a brake check as my car had been making a high pitch noise when stopping. The engineers found the problem and fixed it as part of the free brake check. They also said my current pads and discs were good for a while longer, which I believe showed integrity and honesty. Highly recommend these guys and would use them in the future.
