   Overcharged and unapologetic. I came in for a rear brake replacement — a simple job with a clearly published labour time. Anyone can check the industry time-guide (the same one garages use) and see it’s 1.2 hours. This place charged me 1.8 hours, with no explanation other than “that’s what it is.” The work itself seems fine, but the attitude and the pricing were not. When I questioned the inflated labour charge, I was met with defensiveness instead of a straight answer. If you’re confident in your work, you don’t need to pad out the bill. There are honest garages that stick to standard labour times and treat customers with respect. This is not one of them.

They are quick, accommodating and reasonably priced and you can trust the work they do. Their commitment to their customers is obvious and I will use them always.

   I took my car in to R&S Automotive to get my brakes looked at. The guys were very knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly friendly. They were able to diagnose the problem within a couple of hours and contacted me to inform me of all the work that needed to be carried out. I was happy to go ahead with the work and was able to pick up my car within the same day. I highly recommend this place for all car problems, as they are honest and trustworthy!

   I've been using R&S for the past 5 years for both our cars for all repairs and maintenace, and I trust them implicitly: in terms of their integrity; quality of work; and in their fair pricing. The team are friendly, well informed and take pride in their work. Had a puncture and feared the worst, but they repaired it at minimal cost. When service is required they only carry out and charge for what really is needed. When something unexpectedly breaksdown, they offer an honest opinion on what repair work is needed, and they always check with me before going ahead with any additional work.
