   Having lived in Ashtead for over 25 years, Chris and the team have worked on every car we have owned, from 1974 & 1981 classics up to present day ones, and has always given not only great service and work on our cars, but giving honest information on what was done, and valuable advice on what the car may need in the future.    Had an mot done on my car. Got it back and got a bad knocking noise when changing gears. Took it back to see if they could figure it out. Felt like I got led down the garden path. Saw the guy that worked on my car in the background looking hesitant to get involved. Took it to a dealer and they said the gearbox needed to be replaced. Whatever fun they had with the car cost me £3000...

   Volkspeed have corrected several faults on my car and each time I was pleasantly surprised at how soon they were able to do the work, and how reasonable the cost was. One of the items they sorted out during the day of the MOT. (Clearly that's not always going to be possible but it was just what I needed). Each time I have used them the price is more than competitive, and they provide friendly advice on what might need doing next from the manufacturer's service database. This helps with planning new work, and estimates of cost are then are no surprise. This is all part of the efficient personalized service one gets on visiting this excellent workshop, where there is a sort of "happy vibe" of good working going on to the highest standards.
