I took our new VW T2 through to R3 after finding them online. Dan and Ekali (?) definitely know their stuff and couldn’t have been more helpful. A full service, brake adjustment and a couple of additions were reasonably priced. Go there to be looked after by people who know what they’re doing.
Reliable and trustworthy, hard to find in a mechanic! Incredibly knowledgeable on every make and model, looks after our whole family’s cars; would never let anyone else touch them now.
Dan’s an excellent mechanic, always explains everything and doesn’t mind a natter! I’ve been going to R3 for a few years now and will continue to do so!
Dan is fantastic, professional and very knowledgeable. He turned our camper round in a matter of hours which was a godsend. Having had 2 very bad experiences with 2 other VW garages that professed to know what they were doing, resulting in a catalogue of issues we were struggling to find another, we got Dan's number from another owner who highly recommended him. Daniel was brilliant and provided an excellent service. I was almost at the point of selling based on my wife’s lack of faith in my mechanical ability and unable to find a decent local vw specialist, but found R3 online and was such a positive experience. I rarely take the time to write reviews as very few deliver what they say in the timescales they say at the price they say and Daniel and R3 did. Already planning to book in again for a few more tweaks ahead of the summer!
Dan is a lovely guy and a great mechanic, he replaced the engine and power steering in my VW camper on time and on price. The end result is like driving a new vehicle. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending him.
Top garage run by a top bloke. The only place to go with your air-cooled vehicle. Don't take your car anywhere else, Dan will sort it out for you.
the worst mechanic that I have ever used, burnt out my coil, gave van back with no oil in it !!! every time it came back with more problems than it went in with, Dan lied all the time about the work he was doing, never finished when he said he would
It’s only taken me 20 years to finally find a garage that’s first class and does not rip customers off! Dan is a genuine guy in the business - a rarity- someone who makes the extra effort to get the job done without a fuss and conscious of making sure you are kept up to date with progress and all importantly- the cost! I’ve had my Bay for 21 years - and have had a fair share of shoddy mechanics work on it! Which got to a point where I would try & do the work myself! However a major steering issue and running issues was too much for me to diagnose and other garages couldn’t fix the running issues- within two days my van was back on the road after Dan sorted it - it’s the best it’s ever run - and I have a big smile on my face when I drive it - As a family we were losing the love for 'Buttercup' and now we have her back! Cheers guys.
