His quote was by far the best I received from any specialist. ​Not only did he complete the major belt work perfectly, but also replaced a few injector seals that were torn that caused a fuel smell in the cabin.    Booked an appointment via phone. Matt was understanding of my situation and was able to facilitate me leaving the car the night before. I was sent video updates during the work and I was able to pick the car up in the afternoon. I only came across MCR via the reviews and I must say Matt's experience and knowledge was comforting in knowing my car was in good hands. The dreaded wet belt etc was changed in my MK3 Focus EcoBoost. The price was affordable in comparison to other 'specialist' in changing wet belts.

   I can honestly say Matt is the best mechanic i have ever used he has just changed my starter motor on my car within 2 hours (this is a big job on my car as whole left side of engine needs dismantling) no other mechanic really wanted to do the job as its a real pain and also i was quoted a very high amount. Matt did the job for a fraction of what i was quoted elsewhere and like i say within 2 hours if i could give more stars i would thank you Matt.

   Really happy with how Matt from MCR Automotive dealt with my old French car which most mechanics try to avoid ! Literally saved the car from going to scrap (I was having no other option than starting to think about scraping the car with the expensive quotes I've got for head gasket repair) and on a price 3 times less than the cheapest quotes I received from my local garages! The head gasket job was done the same day. Matt collected the car in the morning and dropped it back in the afternoon with all job done and ever since the car runs great! Definitely will be recommending MCR Automotive to everyone!

   Matt came out to originally to replace the handbrake lever on my Ford Galaxy, he sourced the part very cheaply and even whilst fixing the handbrake, he fixed an issue with my front sidelight bulbs as well. Matt turned up at the time he said each time and I have now booked my MOT in with him as well. Fantastic service, I have since recommended him to a friend as well who is having issues with a Ford Mondeo.
