What a friendly salon, I booked a cut and blow dry with Paul and couldn’t be more pleased. I love the style and finish and will definitely return for some new highlights. Very reasonable price too.
Got my hair cut here for my birthday. I was able to book in same day of calling and I would highly recommend! When washing your hair they give you a lovely head rub and then cut and blow. Everything was perfect!

actual visit: I still recommend this place highly, I am very satisfied with the service and result.also paid with a credit card. First visit: They don't take any card, but a cash machine is literally next door. The people do really good work. The prices are not too high. Can truly reconnaissance it!

I had a great cut and colour with Jess who was friendly, professional and took the time to discuss with me what I wanted. She was also very receptive to me suggesting products/techniques to style it with at the end (my hair is wavy/awkward and reacts weirdly!) When I’m in town I come here because I always have a great experience and it’s good value for a quality service.
felt compelled to post a review following the negative one below. I have been coming to Rough Cuts for years and have always found all the girls to be both exceptionally professional and very approachable and friendly at all times. Megan although not my usual stylist has coloured and cut my hair in the past (and I am fussy)! I have never had a problem and she has always known her trade and in my opinion is an excellent well trained hair stylist. My daughter and family have all had their hair treated by Megan in the past and continue to do so . If my stylist is not available I would not hesitate to allow any of the staff to style my hair. The fact that the salon is reasonably priced compared to other establishments does not for one minute take away their first class competency and amazing abilities. Highly recommended please do not be put off by one bad apple in the pile.
