I found the compliance team to be unnecessarily complicated and restrictive, particularly as they do not accept dental nurses for insourcing work at hospitals. For this reason, I would not recommend this agency to any hospital or individual seeking to work with them.

During my onboarding process with Medinet, Josh was my primary point of contact, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the level of service he provided. From our first interaction, Josh was highly professional, addressing each of my queries with clear and detailed responses. His phone manner was polite and engaging, which made it easy to discuss any questions I had. Josh was incredibly helpful in explaining each step of the onboarding process, ensuring I fully understood all necessary details. His dedication to excellent service is commendable.

Molly Byrne has been Fantastic and professional as my coordinator, she has looked after me so well and always there when you need her help with allocations and shifts. She is a good and reliable and respectful coordinator considering her job role which can be very challenging and dependent on listing patients for surgery and allocating the appropriate staff based on skill mix. She always responds to my emails and resolves any issues I may encounter whether with shifts allocations or understanding.

I recently started working with Medinet, and I have to say that the support I received throughout the entire process has been outstanding. From the moment I signed up, the team was incredibly helpful, making the experience seamless and stress-free. Special thanks to Joshua Penfold and Alex Popa, who have been consistently supportive and attentive. Their guidance through the compliance process was clear, and they made sure that all my documents and requirements were in order, which made everything run smoothly. Anytime I had a question or needed clarification, they were always quick to respond and offer their help. By the time I was ready for my first shift, I felt fully prepared and confident, thanks to their exceptional support. Their professionalism and dedication have truly made my transition to working with Medinet a positive experience. I am grateful to be part of such an excellent team, and I look forward to continuing my journey with Medinet.

I have just read another review from a lady called Georgina Thomas I can’t tell you how relived I am to have read it. I had an appointment at Guys on the 5th December 21 after suddenly developing severe symptoms very quickly. When I looked at my letter it was under the care of a Medinet Consultant. Like Georgina I did not know the doctors name and I got told by the consultant to stick ear plugs in my ears and go and get on with my life. My GP and Guys appointments were confused as there was no paperwork other than an audiology test. There is more to say but I just want to get the point across. I have never ever met such a patronising person in all my life. I am a very positive person and all I can say is I felt extremely deflated after my appointment.

Really unhappy with the Medinet service I received on Sunday 10th April at Guys Hospital in London. The NHS need to do customer feedback on Medinet. Another third party supplier no doubt charging the NHS ridiculous amounts of money to have seen me and other patients on Sunday. If I had known I was not actually seeing a Guys consultant I never would have accepted this appointment. The ENT consultant I saw did not introduce his name, did not have my records to hand, told me there was nothing on the system although I have been having treatment at Guys Hospital for more than 10 years. He then sent me away saying there was nothing wrong with my right ear, although he knew nothing about my illness as he had no records on the system. He did not ask about my worries or concerns, or how the diminished loss of certain sounds is impacting my life and my livelihood, I know my body and I know that my hearing has diminished from my last appointment where I met with a Guys audiologist and NOT an ENT outsourced consultant. As writing this I am actually convinced that the person I saw knew anything about otosclerosis or how to give an informed consultation on the audiologist results he had in front of him. He told me what I already knew in regards to my left ear, which unfortunately has severe nerve damage due to a GP, many years, ago not taking my slowly diminished hearing loss seriously. I do not want the same thing to happen with my right ear. The person I saw had no previous results to compare to, no sympathy to my worry, he offered a fluffed 10 second feedback and told to go home as nothing was wrong with me - no consultation whatsoever. I have informed Guys and St Thomas of my uneventful experience and have been advised that a manager will be following up with Medinet and will keep me informed. I could not find the actual names of Medinet’s medical team online but found all the business development directors names so I do hope one of them contact me to discuss this matter in further detail.

Medinet have a policy of paying staff a gross rate and offer no rights of employment. HMRC contacted me to advise that since I was working as a nurse and carrying out duties in accordance with disguised remuneration Medinet must pay me under PAYE tax rules so that all tax and NI is paid. They refused and wouldn't offer me any work unless I broke the law and committed tax fraud. Avoid. All they are interested in is their profits. Their response is boilerplate nonsense designed to offload any responsibility from themselves and onto their disvuised remuneration employees.

Very poor experience. Staff have absolutely no empathy. They are ripping off the NHS.
