The reception man Sam is completely rude! No knowledge of customer service, this guy needs to be sacked. Awful just awful!

Great experience. I needed an issue diagnosed and potentially fixed on my Jaguar XK while visiting London. . I found Sam and his team online and called. He had me booked in to drop it off the next morning - they did a thorough diagnostic, gave me a call at lunchtime to confirm findings and my car was ready to pick up at the end of the day. Very reasonable charges and reassuring to deal with knowledgeable folks who know these cars inside out. Seeing no fewer than 5 E Types in their garage being worked on when I picked mine up - itβs clear many folks trust this garage with their special cars.

Just made an enquiry with these guys and was met with what I can only say was a hostile reception. Having mentioned I have just had my wife's Jaguar XE serviced at a local garage to us we was informed to take it to a Jaguar specialist regarding some engine fault codes . The guy on the phone at JAG Workshop shut me down before I could finish explaining with' get the garage who serviced your car to repair it' Well, your customer service is terrible and that is why I have just gone to the effort of reviewing you 1 star. Good luck

If you ever decide to use this garage please ask for a written quote before you authorise any repairs. If you donβt do it, see below what can happen. I took my classic Jaguar XJS for an MOT revision at the Jag workshop. Sam greeted me coldly, thatβs ok. I left the car. Later on, Sam called and told me on the phone, that to issue the MOT there were a number of parts that needed changing. Sam told me the cost was Β£1250 pounds including labour, parts and VAT. I asked for confirmation. It was confirmed this was all it was needed to issue the MOT. I asked to confirm if it included VAT. I was told it did and that it included 6 hours of labour at Β£100 per hour. I was assured that price covered all. I felt it was a lot of money but approved it. Later on, I requested by text message for a written estimate to approve further work not related to the MOT. I didnβt receive anything. When I went to pick-up the car I was given a bill for over Β£2500, thatβs Β£1000 over the initial firm quote, including 16 hours of labour! I was told that it was necessary work to get the MOT done. I was told that the MOT required the extra work. I reminded Sam that he had given verbal assurances that the estimate covered all. He insisted that the MOT required more work and parts. I told him he should have told me and asked for my authorisation. He just shrug his shoulders. At the end he brought the number of hours by 2 down to 14, and graciously, after some begging, agreed to receive payment with an American Express card. I felt robbed. Itβs well possible that Sam will argue this is not correct. I leave it to you, reader, to judge yourself.

Three or four working days before leaving for a continental tour, I discovered my E Type had an extremely worrying clonk coming from the bonnet mountingsβsomething I did not dare risk taking abroad. The Jag Workshop took the car in, identified the problem and fixed it within 48 hours. Great skills, a fantastic service and very much appreciated.

I would definitely use this company again. Everyone was friendly yet professional, and my vehicle was fixed in no time. I was impressed with the smooth running of the workshop, and Iβm very pleased with everything. Done a lovely job on my Mark I E-Type.
