   I have been using speedwell for over 10 yrs. Always have a great service. Very welcoming Mechanics. Very knowledgable. Am always kept informed if any works to be done and consent given so no surprises when paying your bill. Very reasonably priced. As a single woman it’s good to know you wont be taken advantage of. Highly recommend.

   came in to do 4 wheel alignment for my mercedes, did a very good job and car moves freely now, they also use a expensive machine for wheel alignment which comparing to main dealers and other local garages they do not have this. very happy with their service & will be recommending to friends and family,

   Knowing where to bring your car can be a nightmare! I’ve been to the more popular garages whom we won’t mention (rhymes with fit bit) and always leave feeling as though I’ve been duped. Thank god for the guys at speedwell. I always know where I stand with regards to works to be carried out and prices, they advise me on things that may need attention soon but in an advisable manner and not as if they want me to get the work done now. Their location is well kept and extremely comfortable to wait in. All the guys here are amazing and very polite and attentive. If you want an easy to understand mechanic who’s no nonsense and excellent value then I can’t recommend the guys at speedwell enough!

   Feels like a rip off. My car stopped working properly so i went in for a diagnostic(I knew what the problem was), they quoted more than double to replace part(I still paid) but they gave no serial number or warranty number for the new part. The invoice was very detailed for the diagnosis, but 2 words for the brand new part, which is very suspicious. Charged almost £500 for the part, but a simple Google search showed a compatible brand new part for the car cost less than £250. 2 stars because at least the car works properly now

   I can’t express enough gratitude for Kush..what a wonderful and amazing professional he is! I had my car tested for MOT in the other garage, they quoted repairs - £849 total jobs price. I spoke with Speedwell and Kush recommended to bring the car to his garage. All jobs done for £561. I am coming to pay - it is £519, because, as Kush explained, there was overpricing error and it is actually cheaper. Thank you so much Kush and Speedwell autos for brilliant service, honesty and great pricing. Absolutely brilliant and most appreciated mechanics.

   I felt I had to write a review as a middle aged woman who has been conned by a number of garages in the past because I don’t understand car mechanics. To all those out there in a similar position these guys are different. They are kind and honest. They fitted me in the next day (2 months for a Renault appt as a comparison). They explained the situation clearly and said to bring the car back if the fault persisted, as despite all their diagnostics and efforts the fault was not obvious. Because they couldn’t find the fault they wouldn’t charge me, despite being very willing to pay for their time. I can see why they have a business based on loyal customers as they can be trusted. Not easy to find these days and I am really grateful to them for their thoroughness and honesty. I will definitely use them whenever I need to in the future. Thank you

   I’ve been bringing my car here for an MOT every year and service has always been good and I have always left happy. The ownership has changed since I last brought my car in. I booked my car in for a full service and MOT. Dropped my car in the morning and it was done in just over three hours. They rang me and informed me my mot had passed and advised me on all the things they had checked with the car and advised a brake fluid change which I agreed to. I was very happy with the service I received. They gave my car a nice clean as well. Very professional and informative throughout. The only reason I have given 4 stars is because of the price. Having a look online after, I can see that I could’ve saved just over £100 if I had taken my car to kwikfit for the same services, which I found quite surprising. I can’t fault the service provided or the work but the fact I could’ve saved over £100 will make me have a look around first next time.
