   I took my car to Auto 400 on 15 September last year to repair and repaint a damaged passenger door. As soon as I got the car back, the new paint started cracking. I returned it on 18 September, and they worked on it again. Unfortunately, less than a year later, by the end of August this year, the same area started cracking again — in the same bent design section of the door. I contacted them and requested that they sort it out, especially since the issue clearly came from their repair. Their response was simply that because the car was painted more than six months ago, the work was no longer under warranty, and they refused to take any responsibility. I had originally paid £500 in cash, and now I'm back to square one with a damaged passenger door. I’m extremely disappointed with their service and lack of aftercare. My communication with them and photos of the damage will be attached with this review. If you’re considering taking your car there, make sure you confirm their warranty terms in writing and understand exactly how long they will support any issues after repair.

   I've only had great experiences with Auto400! They have been very welcoming and helpful with my MOT, making sure I am comfortable while waiting for my car. The waiting time was very speedy and they kept me well informed afterwards. I would definitely recommend using Auto400 for car services!

   According to the good reviews they have, I did not ask the price for diagnosis. The price is high for me after the work done waiting for 3 hours . Actually, I tested my car near my place a few weeks ago and the result was the faulty throttle body which was changed last year . I paid very less for diagnosis compare with them. I already known what computer going to say . So, this time, I want to be sure and I want to see by myself how they are doing and I want them to check deeper like wire problems and visual check, not only following what computer said. They said it is sure what computer said is right . I couldn't afford anywhere to check again for electrical wiring . I already spent much money for this car. I couldn't change this throttle body again. So expensive for new one and I worry that the same problems coming again after I change . I love my car . But I need to get rid of soon .

   I am reposting my review as the original one did not do justice! We have been taking our car to Auto400 for the past 4 years. Every time we are met with a warm, friendly and down to earth team. The level of service is fantastic and in a timely manner. All work is clarified beforehand, so no hidden charges or surprises. I would highly recommend anyone living locally to give Auto400 a try for all your vehicle needs and maintenance.

   My son recommended this garage to me. I was really impressed by their professionalism. Good customer care from all staff both in the office and in the workshop. Excellent service on my first visit and was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed in a well equipped waiting room whilst they worked on my car. The mechanics were very helpful and apart from the work they had to do on the car, went the extra mile by helping me discover the use of some of the settings and functions as it was a newly acquired car. I found the staff quite friendly and honest and will definitely use them again.
