The doctors at this surgery are decent, but getting an appointment is almost impossible. The system feels stuck in the stone ages, relying entirely on the telephone. You can spend 20–25 minutes just trying to get through, often not even placed in a queue because the lines are full, meaning you have to keep calling back repeatedly. When you do finally get into the queue, the wait is long. Once answered, the receptionists decide whether you get an appointment or not. Most of the time you’re told there are no appointments available, even when calling at 8:30am, which makes no sense. I’ve been trying to get an appointment for months for an ongoing issue and keep being told to go to urgent care, which I don’t want — I need to speak to my own GP. I’ve been with this surgery since childhood, but I’ve had enough and will be changing surgeries, along with the rest of my family.

I recently attended a pelvic ultrasound appointment and was thoroughly impressed by the care I received. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the reception team, and the waiting time was exceptionally short. I was seen by Shariya, who was incredibly empathetic. I was feeling quite nauseous and struggling with the required water intake; her reassuring and kind words immediately put me at ease. Her ability to comfort patients is truly remarkable. My sonographer, Kush, was equally fantastic. While I usually find transvaginal scans uncomfortable, Kush was exceptionally gentle and meticulous, taking the time to perform a thorough and detailed scan. Both professionals maintained the highest standards of privacy and dignity throughout. I left feeling relieved and genuinely cared for.

Worlds rubbish and worst centre ever. Reception staff are useless talk a whole load of crap. When u dying in pain they never pick up or giv appointment. They act like its theirs dads house. We are patients and pay for our shit. They need to have pay deducted for not doing their job. I want to sue these useless ladies taking advantage of us patients. Call at the time they want and whenever your call gets answered never any appointment. I AM LEAVING THIS RUBBISH AND WILL TELL EVERYONE TO DO SAME. Manwara and saima and mrs kaur useless. I pray you go through all this pain and get treated same then will c how u feel.

I’m very happy with the service at Great Medical Centre. The staff are always friendly, polite, and helpful. The doctors take their time to listen carefully and give proper advice and treatment. Booking appointments is easy, and the clinic is always clean and well-organized.

I had an unfortunate experience with DR Yosuf M . I had booked an appointment but was not aware that I needed to inform my GP beforehand. Due to this misunderstanding, the doctor declined to see me, despite the fact that I am experiencing a serious health concern. While I understand that procedures and policies must be followed, I believe clearer communication of these requirements to patients would be very helpful. It was disappointing to feel that my medical needs were not given consideration under the circumstances.

The Receptionists are so very rude and unaccommodating, unbothered and just not interested to help. Luckily I'm well versed enough to ensure I am delivered the service that is available to me and all other patients of this practice. However having to fight for it is not the way. I refuse to be taken for a fool by them. The worst practice I have ever experienced. So surprised that despite the level of complaints and blatant inability to be able to do basic tasks like give out an email address or god forbid answer the phone, or maybe give out appointments fairly. Worse still If you have to turn up and speak to them face to face. Not a single thing has changed. Some of the attitude if your lucky enough to get seen by the Doctors is shocking. You are expecting to talk to the Doctor to address your concerns but are faced with unbothered and total lack of respect and sent home and told its nothing. Having to continue to almost chase them to refer you and get checked out medically like you are asking them for a favour on your behalf. Sorry I thought I was going to the GP who delivers a service to the community it belongs to. You would think it does not get any worse. If there was a way to raise a higher level complaint I honestly would. Something needs to change!

I had an ultrasound scan and internal scan and i was made to feel really comfortable by the nurse and the doctor here. Very respectful and considerate of feelings and was made to feel very at ease.

I actually do not write reviews much but where I have to be honest I have to be honest & show others the truth this place the doctors do not care much about their patients I am so hurt and feel so guilty for believing a doctor here who told me my child was fine it was nothing. My child was struggling to breathe coughing non stop .I knew something was wrong I took him into hospital by myself the following day doctors nurses told me my child has bronchiolitis he is having oxygen as he's unable to breathe. I am very disappointed at this gp practise I do not recommend this place at all. I think it is very important to write this review and let other parents know.

Very inconsiderate receptionists- thankfully as someone who can read and speak English I was able to navigate myself and my mother on where to sign in and wait for her appt as various services are provided at this centre. However I dread to think how my mother and many others would be treated. I believe it doesn't take much to speak politely and guide someone in the right direction even if you're not able to fully assist that person. In my time there, it wasn't just myself who was spoken to in a undermining manner.

the worst doctors you can ever go to. they force you to call at 8 am to book appointments they put you on hold for 30min or to a hour, physically hard especially if you working. they are rude don't listen talk our you, no appointments available phone back 8am the nex day Ridiculous. By that time your Symptoms will get wores or you'll be dead, surgery is a joke They have a duty of care to there patients. The doctors don't even look at you properly, hospitals leave them messages they need more information about patient they forgot to even tell you, you fine out when u go to them for another issue thts when they say oh you haven't given us more information the hospital needs it you sit there all confused say no ones told you doctors blame the reception the reception say it's not our job it's the doctors job Ridiculous. When you need a morning appointment they offer you a 3pm appointment can't take that cause you working, when you need a late appointment cause you working in morning they offer you a morning appointment they need to sort this surgery out it's got even worse by the year
