   Date of Service: 26/06/25 - Rude and Unprofessional Conduct I’ve been a loyal customer of this garage for some time and have always had great experiences in the past—particularly with Arnold, who has been impeccable. Based on that trust, I decided to request a car diagnostic and paid upfront, even though the cost was slightly higher than larger chains like Halfords or Kwik Fit. I wanted to support a small business I believed in. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing from start to finish. This time, I dealt with Anthony, who showed very little empathy or professionalism throughout the process. From our first interaction, it felt like I was a burden rather than a valued customer. When I received the diagnostic report, it was a brief message of just seven words: “INVESTIGATE LIGHT ON, REQUIRES COOLANT PUMP.” Unsurprisingly, this was rejected by my insurance company, who requested a more formal and detailed report. I replied politely via WhatsApp (the same channel they had used), requesting a more comprehensive letter. Not only did I sense clear hostility in his responses, but he eventually stopped replying altogether. When I followed up by phone the next day, I was shocked. After identifying myself, Anthony began shouting, saying he had better things to do than write reports, and reprimanded me for messaging him outside of working hours. Even after I apologized, he remained condescending and dismissive, telling me he doesn’t work for insurance companies and doesn't care what I do for a living when I tried to explain my side. This was not only unprofessional—it was outright rude. Sadly, this experience has completely broken the trust I once had in this business. I will not be returning, and I would advise others to consider carefully before doing business here.

   Found this garage last minute yesterday; desperate to find somewhere trustworthy and reputable, after some not so great experiences. From reading the reviews on here and straight off the bat of speaking on the phone, I had a good feeling about this place. Anthony and his team are absolutely top notch. Friendly, honest and passionate about what they do, and give excellent customer service with integrity. My partner and I are SO happy with the experience here and will now be lifelong customers. We needed a drive belt replacement and also ended up having a full service - we were going to have that in the next few weeks anyway, and they kindly fitted us in for everything. They sent us videos of the car as we went off while they worked on the car; the videos had explanations of what is good and anything that needed highlighting. Car is now back to good condition! If you don’t go here for all things motor vehicle - you are mad! Thanks Anthony and team!!

   Incredibly friendly, helpful and high quality service - I brought my car in for an inspection as there was suspension noise. Anthony was very thorough in trying to narrow down the fault and kept me in the loop constantly with videos, which was incredibly helpful for decision making. Once diagnosed it was quickly remedied. Highly recommend and will be using them going forward.

   Extremely professional and friendly garage. They appear to fix the whole spectrum of cars, from high end sportscars and classics, to my very boring 15 year old Ford Focus! Have used this place for over 10 years, every time Gerry and Arnie have done a superb job on my car and I still use them despite no longer living in North London. Costs are very reasonable, and every time they have always checked to ensure there is no secondary issue that will become a bigger issue if ignored. As a result of their diligence and exceptional service my car keeps on running as good as new.

   A friend recommended we take our car to Gerry Deery back in 2007 when we lived locally - we are now a 25 minute drive away (or a 50 minute run with hills!) but I still make the journey whenever I need anything from a service to a repair.
