Doesn't listen to what you ask for and just whatever they want. Went in and asked for a 3 on the back and sides and a trim on the top. Completely ignored what I asked for and decided to give me 1 on the back and sides and basically a 2 on the top with a small fringe. Absolutely not what I asked for.
Been twice now, both times they have made a really good job of it. My new barbers!!
I've only been twice but on both occasions I've had brilliant hair cuts. The staff really know their stuff!!
All the barbers here are extremely dedicated and talented, always going the extra length with superior attention to detail. I've been going here for over a year and now won't go anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable too (£9 for a haircut).
I have been a customer of 15 years at this Barbers, this was the only place I would go to get my hair cut. Today however I arrived for a haircut at 18.10 (They close at 7pm, or so they have listed on Google) and was told they are closed, bare in mind the door was open, no Closed sign up and 1 gentleman getting his hair cut. I argued that the shop closes at 7pm and I have been before after 6pm and had no issues. I offered to pay £5 extra for them to fit me in as I needed a haircut for an event tomorrow but was turned away. There were 2 guys working, one already cutting hair and the guy behind the till who turned me away. 15 damn years as a loyal customer and I get treated like this, it's absolutely ridiculous. Instead I went to The Man Cave just further up and was seen to straight away. Safe to say they have lost a very loyal customer for the sake of a 20 minute hair cut while The Man Cave has gained a new customer.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Went for a hair cut, steam shave and nose wax and was faultless. Barbers very friendly and chatty. Made to feel very comfortable. Offered complementary drinks also. BEST barber in wigan and will be returning.
I didn't even have to wait for my hair to be cut it was into the shop and into the chair however it all became clear why there wasn't many customers because I asked for a short back and sides and I've got to say it isn't the best hair cut I've had. It looked like it had been done with a knife and fork (literally)! Didn't even bother to take much off the top either, was more bothered about getting the job done as fast as possible. I have been to a few barbers, and this one has got to have been the worst. Would not recommend to be honest.
