   I recently booked my 4-year-old son for a haircut at Gould Barbers in Horwich. While the location is very convenient, the overall experience was disappointing. The young barber did not make any effort to reassure my son, despite it being clear that he was nervous. I also had to point out areas that had been missed around the ears and neckline, which should have been addressed without prompting. Although the top section of his hair looks acceptable when styled, the back has not been blended properly and appears uneven. We considered returning to have it corrected but ultimately decided against it, as we were concerned the result might be made worse. Given the quality of the haircut and the lack of attentiveness, I was very disappointed with both the service and the price charged. We will allow his hair to grow out and seek a different barber in future

   Nothing that says you need an appointment, staff say you do , no signs, nothing on the web , just drove 30 miles , thanks for running an inefficient shop . Great twice before . Now never again. I woman, 1 boy on Saturday? You must be kidding What are the 3 other chairs for then ???

   Visited this morning 30th December, hair cut by Mason. Asked me what I wanted and he did it, talked me through what he was doing. Explaining about shaping ect. The guys working there have a great balance of rapport and professionalism. I will certainly be returning very happy with my experience and the service I received.
