This review has been a long time coming. Around a year ago I went here to respray my front bumper where they over charged me compared to elsewhere but I didn’t know better at the time. The paint job was horrible. A very noticeable difference to the rest of the car colour in which at the time they said we told you we couldn’t match it identically. To the point now it’s literally two different shades of white. Now for the reason for this review. Around a few days ago, I sent them an enquiry about fixing up my boot in which they tried to charge me 1200 pounds in the invoice. Listing the paint as 190 pounds. In which we all know paint does not cost 190. With labour coming to 490 for a boot respray and parts 517 pounds. Plus vat. To make it 1200 pounds. The reason for this review is it’s dishonest business, extortionate pricing for somewhere that I know wouldn’t even colour match correctly due to pass work. Also funny enough down the road to them I got the exact same work they quoted 1200 pounds for all the way down to 250 pounds. In which they colour matched perfectly to the point you can’t even notice work has been done. Please find alternatives and don’t bother with them as they will definitely be charging too much for the work and I can assure you from previous experience there paint won’t match fully.

Worst repair ever! Recommend garage by insurance. They ‘repaired’ it and when I collected it, it broke down- over heated and melted thermostat. Car recovered on tow truck, they apparently missed a jubilee clip. Didn’t check anything else, and I collected it again. Driving home, temperature gauge read engine was running cold and faulty thermostat when we ran diagnostic check. Called Paul’s Autos and they said, nothing to do with accident. No, it was your poor repair when you fitted radiator and intercooler! You missed a jubilee clip which killed the thermostat. I took my car to a ‘proper’ garage who replaced the thermostat. Do not send you car here! Absolutely useless and do a half job. Don’t even get me started on the poor quality of paint job, bonnet misalignment and everything thing else…

I don’t usually write bad reviews but this company’s very audacious and disgusting… I went through my insurance company who made me end up with this place repair some dents/scratches. When I collected the car it said 3 tyres had low pressure on the dashboard but I wasn’t too fussed as usually this just means they need some air, which I was happy to do myself. 20mins (if that) into my journey home I could hear one of the tyres making a noise so I pulled over and saw there was a big bolt sticking out in my tyre and it was flat. This DEFINITELY happened while it was with them as it didn’t have any bolts or low tyre pressure before and this sign had popped up before I had even come off of their grounds. I was left stuck in SW10 somewhere with my 2 year old son until I got someone to come out to me. I had called Paul’s auto repairs and the first couple times the lady (who claimed she was the director of the company) said she was going to see if she can get recovery out to me and she’ll call back. She then called back and said she’s gonna contact the insurance as she not able to get to get anyone out to me. The third time I spoke to her she then denied any responsibility and said this could’ve happened anywhere on my journey when I assured her that the tyre pressure signs had popped up before I even left them and I haven’t even made it home! I am 1000% sure that this is their fault but because I can’t prove it they are denying responsibility. I was left stranded with my 2 year old son as I had to make calls and get this fixed out of my own pocket. I literally ended up in tears as I was on the phone to her because I was soo frustrated and couldn’t believe that this is what the company is doing. I know they know it was them aswell but because it can’t be proven they didn’t accept responsibility and basically called me a liar as they continued to deny that the low pressure sign had popped up when I was still there. When they gave the car back and asked me to look at it and sign papers if everything’s okay I had only checked the body of the car as that’s what it went in for … I’m just a normal girl, not a mechanic so I didn’t think to check tyres and every other inch of the car; honestly I wouldn’t know what to look for. They’re crooks… and I’m very pissed. If you do go here just make sure you check EVERYTHING! and even if you think a sign is nothing, tell them to check before you even leave. Once you have left they will deny everything. My whole day was wasted because of this so I might aswell waste a little more for this review.

Lovely family run business. My car was sent to Pauls Auto Repairs through my insurance. From the beginning to end they were attentive, kept me updated, were always happy to answer any questions I had. The work was excellent. Thank you to all the team, everyone from reception to the repair technicians you were fantastic. I don't have a local garage that I normally go to but Pauls Auto Repairs will be where I will go if needed.

The garage took on repairs from my insurance company and done a poor job. The rear windscreen is not defrosting properly and they caused more damage to the car. Glass fragments all over dashboard and in the car. They damaged my seats and claimed this was alresdy there. STAY WELL CLEAR!

Really outstanding team. I had my steering wheel stolen and driver side window smashed. Pauls were contacted by my insurance company and from that point onwards I was in good hands. Great communications from front desk team, and repair was done super promptly and then delivered to my door. If i could give a 6th star i would.

Pauls Auto Repairs was recommended to me by my insurance company after I was involved in a car accident. My rear bumper was badly damaged as well as a huge dent in the boot. I read the reviews online and trusted they would do a good job; when my car was returned to me I was so pleased. As my car has a niche colour, I was worried about there being a colour variance, but this was not the case at all. My car looks brand new, they did a brilliant job and returned the car to me in excellent condition (sparkling clean inside and out!). A lot of my friends and family also commented on how amazing the repair looked and you would never know there was any damage at all! Not only this, they kept in touch with me regularly, and also provided a loan vehicle. Less than a week after they had taken it away, it was returned to me, so they didn't waste any time. I cannot recommend them enough and am grateful for their service. It is so nice to know of a reputable and professional repair garage and I have been telling everyone I know about them. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to the whole team! :)
