I was met by a brash, rude man in the parking lot who ordered me to reverse into the parking space, I should have known then to leave as clearly they have not idea on customer service. I then went inside to book my car in for a service and await the rental car I had booked through Group 1 two months earlier. I checked my car in twice once with the receptionist who then asked me to use the machine to check my car in again. I then enquired about the car rental I had requested 2 months prior only to be told that Enterprise should have contacted me. They hadn't, the receptionist called Enterprise, Enterprise said they'd call me immediately. After 15 more minutes of waiting and no call from Enterprise, I asked her to call Enterprise again, she did. I waited another 10 minutes and then I cancelled my service and walked out. Enterprise called me on my way home to say that Group 1 had given them an incorrect phone number for me so they couldn't contact me. I asked if they couldn't have emailed me but they said they're only given a phone number from Group 1. If I had a choice, I'd use someone else to service my BMW but unfortunately this dealership is by far my closest. AVOID if at all possible!

I was called out of the nowhere to come down for a complementary aircon refresh. I turned up earlier than the requested time. I called to confirm time and specifically asked how long it would take. They said I'd be in and out in under 30 minutes, worst case 45 minutes. After turning up they said they didn't understand why I was there and that it would not be for free, they spent the next 20/30 minutes discussing amongst themselves as I sat across from the table. After this they finally took my keys, I sat there with my son for another 40 minutes, at which point I asked if they were almost done, at this point they said they hadn't started. I said, Ok well I need to take my son to Nursery, can I please have my keys. This took them another 20 minutes. This is not my first poor experience there, last time I had gone there for a service, they took much longer than expected, charged me around £200 after doing no work, and didn't even have the courtesy of cleaning the car. I took the time both the first time and this most recent time to email them and try and speak to them directly about the situation, no one ever endeavoured to come back to me. I emailed and I called multiple times, just to give a fair chance before I wrote this. That's my experience, do with it what you will.

I had a truly appalling and frustrating experience that demonstrates incompetence and blatant price gouging. First, I booked a 10 AM appointment to change my tires and replace my fuel cap (which I was quoted £25 for). When I arrived, they suddenly claimed it was an "all-day" appointment, contradicting the time I specifically booked. After a frustrating argument, they finally agreed to have the car ready by 1 PM (it was 1:30 PM). But the most shocking part came at collection: they admitted they "read the wrong report" and that my tires were perfectly fine and did not need changing. I wasted my entire morning and rearranged my schedule because they couldn't read the correct paperwork. It's completely unacceptable! To add insult to injury, the £25 fuel cap replacement ballooned to £70 with an added "investigation fee" I never authorized. The staff member ridiculously claimed the full fee was £140 just to look at a faulty cap. I knew the part needed replacing; I didn't need a ridiculous diagnostic charge for a 10-second glance. This is a clear case of stealing money from clients. After years of being a loyal annual service customer, I will never return. I caution everyone against using this service due to their incompetence and dishonest pricing tactics.

Since Group1 took over the service has deteriorated. Having left our car for a Simple MOT at 8:15 am. 7 hours later we had received no update and telephoned to see the status which was not provided. Unlike the previous management, there was no attempt to establish the position or to keep us informed . After 9 hours we had still not received any proactive update and Kerry our appointed contact seemed indifferent and disinterested to our enquiries . We found the service extremely disappointing. As this is not the first issue we have had with this centre, we can only suggest to stay away as we are now likely to do.

Avoid at all cost!!!! I entrusted my BMW M4—previously in perfect working condition—for routine servicing with this garage. Shortly after the service was completed, I began experiencing issues with gear shifting. I returned the car to have it inspected, and was told that the problem was unrelated to their service and simply a case of "bad luck." They diagnosed a faulty DME (Digital Motor Electronics) unit and quoted a replacement cost of £2,700. After some negotiation, they agreed to carry out the work for £2,341. I then waited nearly three months for the part to arrive from Germany, during which time I received no updates or communication unless I chased them myself. Once the part finally arrived, I was informed that an additional issue had been discovered involving a different component, raising the total repair cost to £4,700. They offered a so-called "gesture of goodwill" to complete everything for £3,018.15. This was surprising, as they had previously promised to resolve the issue for £2,300. At that point, I requested that the car be returned to me unrepaired so I could take it elsewhere. However, I was told I would still be required to pay the £2,300—or the vehicle would not be released. In my experience, this business operates with questionable transparency and a serious lack of accountability. I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with them. What began as a simple service turned into an ordeal that cost me time, money, and unnecessary stress. Proceed with care, and consider other, more reputable options.

Not happy with them at all. Car had a recall on it. Took me 3 hours in total to drop it, come back, collect and come back, 20 miles in total. First they tried to get me to change my brake pads when they were fine in my recent MOT then they actually charged me £10 for petrol on the replacement car! How they figured out 20 miles costs £10 I’ll never know. Lose 3 hours of my life and get charged £10 for the privilege. Thankfully I know an excellent local garage which knows how to act properly and with integrity.

I’ve used here a couple times for services, MOT’s and usually get a good service. Unfortunately, the standard of service I recently received has been poor. My car has been retrofitted a few times and I’m aware of the low risks when it comes the computer sides of things. However, it is not the first time I have lost a key and got a new key with a dealer and it was programmed perfectly. Updating the car software has never been an issue until I used the services of the Borehamwood. When speaking to other services companies they do not understand how simple and straightforward tasks could not be completed. The technicians team must not be as good or lazy or does not take as much pride with their work. The service advisor even discouraged even doing repairs and costs will be high. A breakdown of the cost wasn’t even mentioned or discussed, just “there’s nothing we can do with your car”. From the receptionist to the service advisor to the technicians, just poor. I would have given 0/5 stars as nothing was good. Even the car wash alone took 45+ mins and if I did not remind the receptionist out service advisor I would have would have waited past an hour. Whatever the case/reason I will not be using their services in future.

Horrible and super dodgy Look at my car at the delivery day, they forced me to accept it as the have long waiting list for, take or leave it! The car has damage in the left side and they're not willing to fix it When I arrived home I realised that they sprayed the bumper with side cameras Lolllll, how can you even do that Paul the manager is very VERY dodgy guy, not worth to waste time with him Never trust these guys and not worth to do business with them

Following a recent service they told me that my brakes pads only had a couple of hundred miles left and would cost several hundred pounds to replace. So I took the car to my local garage for a second opinion and after spending hours taken the car apart said that the brake pads are completely fine and had over 10k miles of use remaining. I was totally amazed that a supposedly specialist service centre could give such false information that would have ended up costing a customer such a great deal of money for no reason. This is on top of the service centre promising me a courtesy car whilst they service my car only to be told the day before that they did no such thing and I would need to hire a car instead. This all puts me off buying a BMW ever again.

Booking in for a service to be completed in 1 hour. Dropped the car, returned in 2 hours, no service was done. Poor service, very unprofessional. They offered to do my service in 30 mins.... that was their apology, which means they wanted to cut corners. I would not recommend using, as their reception staff are highly incompetent and their manager did not care my time was wasted.
