FTB Oaklands Centre is an absolute disgrace. They keep “forgetting” to order my medication, leaving me in brutal withdrawal from Pregabalin and Quetiapine. I’ve begged for help and can never speak to a doctor — just the same useless excuses from reception. They ignore emails from my mental health team and show zero care or responsibility. This place should be ashamed of itself.

I am suffering daily and cannot cope as i hear and see things, i told my worker and gp and they put me through to here, i went for an appointment hoping for some help but they said that “you are withdrawing off alcohol and thats why you are seeing and hearing things, wait for your detox and if you need help go back to your gp” i wasnt offered any service just told that “i wouldnt need to come back” i struggle with anxiety and depression for many years, ive told them time and time again i keep having thoughts and people irritate me and i want to hurt them but it seems that they do not care for anyones wellbeing, posting this here to tell people to avoid and insist your gp to refer you somewhere else, not really my fault if i end up lashing out at someone because i doctor doesnt want to do there job properly or if someone is in a similar position and they do something to themselves.

Doctors and receptionists are very helpful. Since my son is a patient of the centre me and himself are feeling very looked after. I have no problem with get prescription on time. We have help from several specialist. If I need extra advice or support my son's doctor always give me call back.

Terrible service receptionists are rude and up their own arse, calling patients liers over a change of medication because the medication had bad side effects, if I could give 0 stars I would. ABSALOUTE JOKE IF THEY OFFER YOU THIS SERVICE DONT TAKE IT RUN TO THE HILLS!!!!!!!

Zero star. Antidepressants issued to 12 year old this is ok as child suicidal. However confirmed 4th July child still feels suicidal but at that time no active plan. Now over 3 months later, October 11th with child's desire to end life. Oaklands Centre have still not made an effort to change medication since crisis call 27th September. How is this possible?

They're so bad they will write things on there notes and will not tell you what they will not communicate with you or family in fact they will blame the family for everything you will not get medication fast at all if u have a chance personally wouldn't go I had no chance and couldn't leave I was forced to stay there. Best way to make someone never want to open up again. I just lied about everything to get out

I am tired of this service. I have been a patient here for about 2 years now, and in the last year they have failed me countless times with my prescription. The first time it happened a few months ago, I called a week in advance for a prescription (which they advise) and a week later when I was out of medication they hadn't even processed it yet. I had to get an emergency prescription from my GP. This has happened not once but 4 times now in a row. The most recent time I've asked for a prescription, I had 2 weeks worth of medication and called 2 weeks in advance to get it sorted. I called a week later to see if it was ready and it still wasn't ready but I was told it would be ready for pick up on Monday as I told them it was urgent as my medication would run out then. This is time critical medication, if I am off this medication my mood can take a down turn easily. Rang up on Monday was told it was ready, but when I went to pick it up it wasn't ready. So now I am without medication and have no way of getting it. Oaklands has negatively affected my mental health more than it has helped me. This is ridiculous and I'm done with this service.
