Fantastic surgery. Some lovely doctor's. Fantastic staff that don't get the appreciation they deserve.
I’ve been to the woman doctor here ,and she keeps giving me different shampoo s …for alapecia ….doesnt work obviously!
I really recommend this surgery. Dr Hodgson was incredibly helpful today, as was the receptionist who I spoke to on the phone — she managed to be caring just in her manner, in the few moments we spoke. Plus, when I had an urgent need to see a doctor earlier in the year, the surgery got me in within two hours. Only when I got to the surgery did I realise this was in the middle of the junior doctor's strike. Really amazing, especially when you consider the large catchment area and huge pressure on the NHS. Of course, if you need a same day appointment, you need to phone early and expect to be in a telephone queue. And if your need is not urgent, it might well be weeks rather than days before you are seen. Of course, your appointment may start later than the scheduled time. But I always think of the huge amount a GP or nurse can be expected to do in less than ten minutes, and feel reassured by knowing they would take that extra time with me, if I ever needed more than ten minutes. Very kind, caring, helpful nurse at AshTree, very hard to get GP appointments or even advise after they send you scary text messages. Doctors have changed since covid and they need to start earning their pay.
Appointments available quickly, staff kind and courteous. In such a difficult time for the NHS to have a surgery like this is so so different from my past experiences, and so appreciated, wonderful place!
Such kind and diligent doctors, and such polite and helpful reception staff. Every member of my family (my husband, parents, children and sister, as well as myself) has been so well cared for by this wonderful team on a number of occasions, and we are all incredibly grateful to them for their hard work, their responsiveness, and their compassion.
Still have to have telephone appointments before they give you proper face to face time. Generally have to wait 5 to 7 day's for that on top. Don't give you a time they will call, just morning or afternoon. Lazy overpaid coward's. Avoid like Covid, ironically. Terrible practice, useless doctors.
What a lovely bunch of girls on reception. I spoke to Laura and Jackie at Ashtree and also recently Steph at kings norton who have all been really helpful during a difficult time regarding my son. It’s lovely when you can ask for help and actually receive it during these troubled times. You are all a credit to your employers they are lucky to have you.
