AVOID!!!!! I went into this dealership today after arranging with the owner to view a car. At first, he seemed very friendly and even agreed to stay open until 8pm so I could come down. I brought my own mechanic with me to double-check the car was in good condition. As soon as the owner saw my mechanic, his attitude completely changed. He became rude, abrupt, and told me that no one is allowed to check the car. He then refused to sell the car to me altogether. This immediately raised red flags — it’s clear he was hiding something majorly wrong with the vehicle. If I hadn’t brought my mechanic, I could have easily been misled. He only mentioned at the very last minute that the car had no logbook and no service history, even though the Autotrader advert clearly claimed it had service history. That’s a blatant lie. This man is extremely unprofessional, dishonest, and rude. Reading other reviews afterwards confirmed my experience was not unique. I strongly believe he is selling cars that are not roadworthy. Avoid this dealership at all costs.

Extremely personal and professional service from Rrahim and the team at Barnet Car Centre. I really felt well looked after, as their professionalism and service are second to none. I would thoroughly recommend for those who want the personal approach and solid after sale service.

Went in on 25.02.2025 to have a punctured tyre fixed. The gentleman informed me that a small puncture can be fixed without replacing the tyre and the two prices. Having looked at the tyre and its condition, he told me that's better to replace than fixed. I had a looked qt the tyre and agreed with him. I asked him to at my other tyre (both rear) and it was as bad as the other even though the threads looks good. It's the split along the groove and ruts that told me to have it changed. He did not pressure me to change at any one time. A frank honest man!

can't fault all mechanics there, however be warned -chances are that you won't get brake pads replaced correctly (one side wore out sooner than the other). Don't be surprised to get a pop-up message suggesting there is a problem with your braking system -there is no problem with it yet -it's just your wheel that had cut off the sensor wire (they didn't bother to secure one in place). You may agree to replace the caliper (glad I did not) but don't even bother to ask for the root cause of the problem (thanks to their previous job) -the arrogant young boy (acting supervisor, i guess) will call you a 'brother' and will rush to replace the brake pads once again (after you relaxed them just a month ago). Do not insist or he would shut the door to your face. No decent work done, absolutely horrible customer servise -not all garages are good but this one's worst by far! (shame it's the closest to me). Better chances getting simple job done elsewhere. Best of luck & thanks for reading.

I wish i could give 0 stars but I can’t. I bought a Kia ceed in December and immediately during the test drive I noticed it was smoking. I’m not a mechanic but even I knew a smoking car was a sign of some serious issues. So ON THE DAY that I saw the car was smoking, I asked them to check it out before I even paid just incase it was an engine issue. There was limited options of cars in my price range and that one was the best I had seen so far so I was quite set on buying it, especially if the smoke issue could be fixed. They took the car to the garage adjacent to it and about 10-20 minutes later came out and said that the car was totally fine and the only issue was that it hadn’t been driven in a while so once it had been then everything would clear up. Being the naive person I was, I assumed they wouldn’t lie to me and bought the car. I asked for a new battery on the day because it had to be jumpstarted but they told me it was because it hadn’t been used in a while. But i had to buy a new battery because a week later the car simply wouldn’t come on even though I had been driving it. After driving it around a little bit I realised that the smoke wasn’t clearing so I called the dealership a few weeks later. I explained the problem, the smoke hadn’t cleared as they promised but they kept on insisting that the smoke would clear up after I had driven it on a long stretch of road like a motorway. This was my first car I had ever bought but now I know I should’ve taken it to a mechanic immediately after buying it. I decided to take it to a mechanic for servicing because there was obviously an issue with the car, it would make rattling noises and would consume fuel like crazy even though it had a small Engine. I called Barnet car centre another time before taking it to the mechanics and said the issue was still there but they still insisted nothing was wrong with car. When I took it to the mechanics they told me that the car wasn’t good, and something was wrong with the exhaust and engine. It’s illegal to drive a car with high emission levels/ a broken engine so at this point I knew this car was unsafe and shouldn’t have been sold. I considered reporting the company but decided to call back AGAIN and tell them what the mechanic had said just incase they genuinely didn’t know and were willing to rectify the situation. They told me to bring the car in so they could look at it, so I brought the car in and they promised to look at it soon. After about 2 weeks of no sort of indication that the car was being fixed, I called them and asked for updates. On the first call they said they hadn’t looked at it yet and when I called back a couple days later they told me to come pick up the car and that the issue had been fixed. Immediately when I got there I knew that they hadn’t done anything to the car or fixed anything. They had just left a couple of empty water bottles inside and moved it to another parking space. They told me that the cause of the smoke was that I was revving it (which I wasn’t because the smoke would immediately start pouring out when the car was turned on and my feet of the pedals). I realised I had wasted my time and they weren’t going to fix it no matter how much I asked. My MOT expired a week later and with all the car’s issues I knew it wasn’t going to pass. About a day or 2 later the engine warning light came on and that’s an immediate fail for MOT so i got a system diagnosis to tell me exactly what the problem was. Apparently the catalytic converter was broken and there was a hole drilled on/ around the exhaust to disguise the issue and to prevent a rattling sound. They definitely knew that the catalytic converter was broken and that the emissions of the vehicle was very illegal. I am very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend anyone from buying from this company. I have called them once since I found out this issue but they didn’t pick up. Avoid this company because even thought the car was cheap, I have spent way over half the price I paid on the car just to fix all the issues.

I've shopped here before, my first experience was great, came to buy two injectors - two hour drive, put them in my car, all working, all good. Second time - Again, I came to buy an injector, two hour drive again, after waiting for twenty minutes they finally get an injector out of an engine out in front of me, and give it to me. I get home, same night. Changed the injectors over, the injector is completely gone and not working, I took pictures of the diagnostics and my car running poor. Sent the owner a message, he said that the injector came from a working engine, and it stopped there. I asked if I can return the injector, or exchange for a working one, and just been left on read constantly. Avoid for parts, unreliable and customer service is none, money down the drain.
