4.8 stars is a lie - go here if you want to be butchered! Been three times asked for a simple cut and received whatever the barber wanted to give me every time . I asked for a one into my normal hair on top and a little bit of the top to keep it fresh so it doesn’t get too long (it’s fairly long on top as I have a fringe). The guy gave me a one on the sides and into my hair on top, I was thinking I might finally be getting a good trim from this barbers until he decided to go against what I told him to do and cut off all the length on top and cut my fringe really short which I didn’t say not to touch but I didn’t say to too so he should have left it untouched. Most barbers ask if you want it cutting but this guy didn’t care. Halfway through the trim he stopped and started doing his hair and posing in the mirror for some reason. The trim was really quick and vigorous - he was rough and pulling on my hair as he was cutting it. This has happened twice before and the third time didn’t charm this place.
Usual place I go, got some good barbers. Then you get one, possibly recently hired who's on his Snapchat, cares more about getting it cut fast and having a sit down than providing decent customer service, was myself and another customer in; having to repeat what haircut I wanted; rough as Ken when cutting it and didn't bother to fade it in when I asked
It's a very friendly and clean barbers and shazza and his staff are very friendly and was very good with my little boy who is not keen on having his haircut but they made him feel at ease and relaxed . I would definitely recommend this barbers to all and can 100% say it's the best in Standish.
