Not a lot of Afro barbers around the area with good experience, always use these guys and happy with the top service. They definitely worth a visit and you won’t be disappointed
I thought the haircut look decent when they finished it, i was quite happy, but when i stepped home, the left side of my hair is so long compared to right. It looks like i onlt got a haircut on the right side of my head, i showed a picture and they looked at it twice to make sure. It looks NOTHING like it, all the hair that i was growing out on the back and sides was GONE. It really looked to me like they didnt know what to do, 5 massive hair clips got put in my hair to lift it all up, and my mate who was with me also got messed up. I do not recommend these barbers, just learn how to do it yourself and then you dont even have to pay
More interested in watching the football than focusing on cutting my hair which led to a mistake that I only noticed when I got home. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone if you want your barber to actually concentrate on doing the job he’s paid to do. One of the worst barber experiences I’ve ever had should’ve cut it myself, USELESS
All three barbers are very good, it takes a lot for me to be happy with my hair - recently they have been getting it spot on. Don’t be shy to tell them what you want and fix something if you don’t personally like it.
Had a great experience at Max Barber Shop. Managed to fit me in on a bank holiday Monday. Guys are friendly, professional and delivered a great haircut. Will definitely be returning.
Took my kid here for a specific haircut we are not from Chester and my lad didn’t want to wait any longer the man who did it was amazing it looked so good and even got some wax given to him he left very happy we will definitely be returning when we’re next in Chester top service thanks again my son said you were the nicest man ever all the best guys
Take my little lad here all the time now. Hair cut is great and the barbers put as much effort in to kids hair as anyone else's they are great with the kids too. Max the barber a great character. From the moment you walk into the establishment till you leave he makes you feel like family with his great mannerism and the care and love he puts into his craft. I had come into get my beard threaded and used the facial steaming service and I definitely got my moneys worth. I recommend all those who are looking to feel rejuvenated to get yourself down to max the barbers barbershop for the 10/10 treatment.
