A lovely practice. The reception staff are friendly, and all of the GPS and nurses I've seen have been helpful and knowledgeable.
How the hell do you get to see a Doctor at this practice with only the paramedic there every day he is a waste of time no one wants to see him .please can we have a nother Doctor on please we are worried because no one trusts the paramedic. The practice is going down hill .
Really hard to give the practice an overall rating as the doctors that I've seen are generally very helpful. Dr Edwards in particular is brilliant, she's very empathetic and tries her best to help you While she can't do anything about the long specialist referral waiting list she will do everything she can to manage the situation in the meantime. The nurse who does stuff like asthma appointments and smear test was great too. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the receptionists. There is one, I think Natalie, who is very nice and helpful but for the rest of them you're a bother every time you call and they're annoyed with ever question you have.. how dare you ask more than one... Zero empathy for distressed patients who just want the information they're entitled to get.
The receptionists are egotistical nosey so and so's . I provided clear instructions when I arrived at 8am in order to make a face to face appointment, to which the receptionists were refusing to make the appointment as they HAD to pry into my personal details to make said appointment to which they decided I could only have one problem at a time even though I had a few things I needed to speak with my doctor about , they said that they could only provide a phone conversation between 11 am and 11.30am so I said I will be at the surgery at 11 and the phone call I received we would be able to do face to face as my main problem was I needed a proof of life doc which is extremely simple the doctor needs to write that I am alive and has the fiduciary responsibility to me the principal and beneficiary of the trust and has to act in my best interests , he blatantly refused breaching gdpr rules and shouting at me in the hallway in the public lobby by the stairs he would not provide me with what I required and the short white female doctor with shoulder length hair stuck her hand in my face and was pointing at me like a dog or lesser being , I have served them with a writ of mandamus and notice of their responsibilities as trustee's of the trust , I am going in tomorrow to serve notice of their breach of gdpr sec 15 ect , their conduct in a public office stretched to maleficence and malpractice in a public office if anyone else wants me to add them to the actions against these corrupt doctors and their disturbing behaviour we can make this a class action case let's not stand for this any more and hold them to account , we hold the power they expect us to be ignorant of our inalienable right bestowed unto us by the one true creator .
Absolutely disgusting treatment from blinkered, negligent Doctors, Rude receptionists and then when you complain to the practice manager, she screams at you down the phone. The whole practice needs to be investigated by a higher authority. My partner has also been advised by the surgery to stop taking her current medication, after one week of no medication I had to take her to A&E and was advised that she can never stop her current medication because it would kill her. The surgery decided this without taking any blood samples or monitoring her current thyroid activity. I’m disabled and unable to walk unaided and my partner is the sole caregiver for me. I had to dial the emergency services because my partner had been asleep for over 12 hours and I was struggling to wake her up due to her not being medicated for her pre existing thyroid conditions as the doctor advised her,now my partner is also going to find another surgery due to their lack of care. I mostly use my wheelchair for any distance I have to cover. My private pension fund is accessible if my GP puts in writing that I’m unable to return to my previous occupation. I have a degenerative spinal issue that is progressing and making my mobility worsen. I’m prescribed morphine and other medications (by the doctors at this clinic ) that make me drowsy and unable to drive anymore. My previous occupation was a multi drop delivery driver yet two of the Doctors from the surgery have refused to put it writing that I’m unable to return to that occupation. The worst part about it is that the surgery charged me £36 for the letter that is preventing me from claiming my own personal pension, causing me great distress and unnecessary financial hardship. I have had to change doctors because of this, how could any medical professional think that someone who has mobility issues and is heavily medicated should be in charge of a heavy goods vehicle unsupervised. The secretary who I dealt with was really understanding and I don’t hold her accountable for any of the mistreatment that I have received. Changes need to be made by this practice as the level of care and customer service is sub par. If I could leave a negative star rating I would have.
This is my honest review of the pedmore doctor surgery. Many years ago I would have, and did recommend the Pedmore Medical Practice to anyone who would listen. When I was in crisis with my mental health they got me the help and seemed to care. Now however I can’t recommend them anymore, they have gone downhill so much in my opinion and need to be investigated as a matter of urgency
Fantastic gps! They work very hard to serve their patients. On a few occasions I’ve had messages after 9/10pm on my email. Definitely not playing golf in the afternoons as the government would like to believe! Receptionists are very helpful too!
Fantastic service always , phoned to speak to a Doctor , I was phoned within 20 mins , I was on my way to work but needed to be seen to be check over so was asked to go straight away , above & beyond always , Thank you to the medical practitioner who was lovely & kind x
Absolutely amazing medical practice! Friendly and helpful staff very caring. I always get seem immediately so happy with them.
Not the best experience i had with them. Highly rude receptions dont have manner. Everytime have to spend 1 hours on the phone to speak to the receptionist and if by luck you get through the receptionist will the best to not give you appointment and fob you off.
