I had a 12 o clock appointment this morning after booking half a day off, unpaid. I was initially sent upstairs to the wrong department and I was then sent downstairs and consequently 3 minutes late. The receptionist ignored me for 10 - 15 minutes as they were on the phone before finally acknowledging me and stating that I could no longer have my appointment because I'm more than 10 minutes late, with zero empathy. It was difficult to hold my tongue but I did, as I respect NHS staff but this was something else! Bang out of order!

I'm very pleased so far with the service at High Oak Surgery. I recently requested a private letter to use as proof of address, and they were absolutely outstanding in terms of speedβ10 out of 10. When my bank pointed out that some details were missing, the surgery promptly revised the letter at no extra cost and provided the updated version the same day. The reception staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Booking consultations has been easy, and they've always managed to find appointments that fit around my busy work schedule. On one occasion, when a nurse consultation had to be rescheduled, they contacted me immediately to rebook it. The doctor I saw today was truly attentive, listened carefully to my concerns, and arranged the blood tests I had anticipated. Overall, Iβm very happy I chose High Oak Surgery as my practice. The experience has been consistently positive.

I've had issues with this place in the past regarding one or two doctors but overall these guys are trying their best in a tight situation. The reception staff are exceptional people. They're caring and they have gone above and beyond for me. I'm truly grateful. Take care folks!

I would give 0 stars if I could. The receptionist with pink hair shouted at me in front of her colleagues and other patients as I was 7 minutes late for my appointment. She even made the point of she was the one that spoke to me on the phone and booked me in so she was aware of that fact that I was struggling to walk and new to the area. Another patient came in who was 15 mins late but nothing was mentioned to him and asked him to sit down without a problem. I was in a lot of pain h on the same day. She needs to be taught on how to deal with the public, especially those in need of medical attention. I have logged a couple plaint also because of her.

Went to collect some blood test stickers and lady with glasses on reception rolled her eyes at me when I said I should have gone for blood test about 4 weeks ago but had a bad cough and cold. She is their receptionist - not my doctor. I was called twice in one day by Olivia to make two appointments I had already made. I also had a telephone appointment to speak to the Dr and missed his call. I called him straight back and asked to be put through and reception assured me would call me back. That was 4 months ago and still nothing. They have not got a clue what they are doing here and quite honestly they give the impression they couldn't care less. I am now looking for a new surgery.

The worst GP in the world! My son is 6 and seriously not well, they never answer the phone and itβs impossible to get through this had happened several times I donβt think he has ever been able to get an appointment there in 3 years of living in the area! Iβve never experienced such bad service in my whole life. Disgusting

Everytime I call them they say to come back the next day or they have me sitting here for hours when it's for my kids just letting the phone ring! Then there's times I'll be going in and they will say that there is nothing wrong or they can't do anything and to come back in a week if symptoms don't calm down. Absolute waste of time.

Phoned my own doctors and because it was so late they booked me an appointment for here at 9:15pm. We'll, I got seen almost straight away but the doctor was very rude. My son has been throwing up feeds since he was born. Initially we assumed it was because of the tongue tie. He is 4 months and still continues to vomit during and after every feed. I thought maybe he had a cows milk Allergy. The doctor said I'm feeding him too much. He is on 7onz every 3-6 hours. The health visitor told me, if he's hungry, up the onzes not put him on hungry baby. Well, the end result was the doctor rolling his eyes at everything I said making me feel like I've not had kids before (he is my 3rd) and made me feel really small and insignificant. The doctor has put him on baby gaviscon...... let's see if it helps.

I have recently joined this surgery. I have found the staff to be so helpful. Sorted my meds very quickly. I changed from a doctors that was totally rubbish. The ladies here are so lovely. If I could give more than 5 I would. Keep up the fantastic work. But remember you will never please everyone. βββββββ

Had a very poorly 2 year old son high temp shaking, being sick, rang for appointment was told they didn't have any. Got told to ring 111 rang 111 got told with his symptoms he needs to be seen within 2 hours and to call doctors for emergency appointment. I rang again, got told doctor would call me at 4, I originally rang them in around 10am ish so it was already too long to wait. Doctor rang me at 6.15 pm to say the receptionist never told him about the appointment, he told me to take my son to Russells Hall hospital A&E we get there the cue time is 6 hours. My son is getting worse, we spend 2 hours waiting until he is seen. He had a temperature over 40 and was very ill, turns out he had tonsillitis that could have been delt with by a doctor. So from calling for a appointment around 10am my son didn't get medical treatment until 9pm. If he had sepsis or meningitis he wouldn't be here now this needs to change before someone dies.
