These guys are honest, helpful and competent in fixing a car. We live near by and they came to our garage to fix our car. We do MOT here as well. I highly recommend this place.

Trusthworthy and Friendly 10/10 I don't leave many reviews around but this place deserves one from me! I've been finding it difficult to find a good honest mechanic. I previously had a bad experience with Halfords after paying for a major service; I trusted them based on the brand but found out that not everything was carried out properly. Whereas other independent garages were dishonest in their work and/or that their prices were unjust. My car hadn't been serviced for a while and my MOT was almost due. My previous MOT was performed by Batt Bros (est. 1945) and I was extremely satisfied with their service. I made my decision to go with them based on several factors: the storefront, website, reviews, talking with the mechanics and how long they've been operating for - which suggests they have high expertise. I felt like I could trust them a lot more than other garages around the area and this was important to me. I felt more confident visiting Batt Bros again after a year on, so went for the Premium Service + MOT as I believe it is value worth paying for after comparing with other garages around the area - and found it to be even cheaper than Halfords! My car was a complete mess and needed urgent changes to its fluid, spark plugs, air filters etc. - which they showed me - all of this was included as part of the service alone. I also got my MOT done as a separate service and very happy overall with their work, friendliness and most importantly honesty. They also included a car wash which wasn't a part of the service and something I didn't expect nor ask for, but it goes to show you that Batt Bros goes out of its way to make their customers feel valued and reassured. I'd highly recommend anyone getting servicing done with MOT at Batt Bros, as it works out better value-wise and servicing a car is equally as important to me as getting your MOT done. I feel fully confident in visiting Batt Bros again for any future MOT tests, servicing and repairs. If you're looking for a well skilled and trusted mechanic then you need to give Batt Bros a visit - you won't be disappointed!
