   Unprofessional and aggressive customer service — very disappointing experience. I took my car to AutoCool Air Con for what should have been a straightforward repair. The director initially mentioned a possible leak but failed to ensure that information was passed to the technician carrying out the work. As a result, the leak was never properly investigated or diagnosed, and the problem was not fixed. Two independent specialists later confirmed what AutoCool should have identified from the start — a condenser leak. I had to pay for the repair again elsewhere. When I raised a valid complaint, the response I received was shockingly defensive and aggressive. Rather than addressing the issue, I was met with personal and unprofessional remarks. I appreciate they have many good reviews and that this clearly isn’t reflected in everyone’s experience, but the way I was spoken to and the tone of their communication were so unnecessarily hostile that I felt compelled to leave a review. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

   Needed my air con doing on my Nissan Juke, called AutoCool on Friday and was booked in for the following Wednesday. Roger rang on Wednesday to say he was running a bit early and if it was OK. Connected up the car and within minutes diagnosed the problem. The whole system was cleaned out of all old gas and was then refilled and tested. With a thermometer test then done inside the car with closed doors a constant temperature of 9 degrees was recorded, cannot remember it being that low when the car was new. Roger bothered to explain exactly what he was doing step by step which gave me great confidence. Overall what a great service, from start to finish it took about an hour, didn't have to drive anywhere, done on my doorstep and at a price better than the usual places. With the work guaranteed I would highly recommend AutoCool as the first place to ring for any air con servicing, reliable, knowledgeable and a really nice guy.

   I only leave reviews when I find a service particularly excellent. You can imagine that can be rare these days in London. I have to say from start to finish this was a great experience. Prompt reply to my web enquiry and booking in a time, very convenient. When the guy showed up he was very clear and informative of the process, he answered all my questions, great personality - you’ve got an absolute gem on your hands there! I wouldn’t bother looking elsewhere for my future air con needs.

   After calling around several options including Kwikfit I landed on AutoCool Air Con Ltd who were able come to my home to look at the AC issue on my Porsche 911. I immediately felt comfortable that Nigel knew what he was doing, with the ease of Rudolf Nureyev he attached the hoses from his impressively equipped van and fully re-gassed my AC system to blowing a cool 5 degrees celsius. Nigel also advised on adding a dye in case of leakage. This was sage advice as soon after, my AC once again started blowing warm. I phoned AutoCool and even though they were fully booked they were able to find time for me to go to their HQ and run some tests to figure out the issue. Nigel using his experience and infrared equipment detected the leaks using the dye as the evidence of the source. I wasn't charged for this follow up procedure which was all done efficiently. I plan to fix the faulty parts that caused the leak and will call on AutoCool once again to re-gas when I am ready. I can confidently say if AC was an art then Nigel would be the Vincent Van Gogh of his trade.

   I sent an online query to AutoCool Air Con on a Friday evening and had a response back on the Saturday morning for them to call me. I replied on the Monday and immediately got a call back to book my car in on the Wednesday that week. Roger arrived prompt and was quick to diagnose and re-gas my car and also advised on going with a Dye additive to check for any leaks, which was all good! The ease of this service at my house was brilliant and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.

   Despite me being out of their catchment area, when the aircon in my Fiesta van hilariously decided to not work properly (during the hottest Summer EVER!!), a (lovely) technician was able to pop over to where I work and get it working properly again - on the same day that I called the office! Cannot recommend AutoCool Air Con highly enough. Superb, very friendly, very professional service. I will definitely use them again (provided they don't mind the trip out into the wilds of Surrey again!!) Thank you so much!! :-D
