The main dance floor had about 5 people on it all night, off their faces on whatever they were taking out in the smoking area. Smaller dancefloor was full of sweaty children trying to get in fights over the one girl on the dancefloor. Even awful clubs usually have some kind of personality... This had none. What a waste.
The services were all good but there’s no equality all the other people in the club would go to the DJ with their song request and the songs would get played but me and my friends who are black when we requested a song to be played the DJ kept telling us he’d play our songs later we kept asking but he refused until the club closed at 3 in the morning.
The difference in management is unreal, I suffered with a really bad panic attack and cannot fault the staff members and bouncers at all, especially Sarah who went above and beyond what you’d expect to make sure I was okay, I cannot thank her enough!
bouncer bruised my female friends arm by grabbing her so hard… Went to true a few nights ago with a small group of friends, one bouncer was behaving oddly and came over to my female friend and was showing her out of the room,she wasn’t sure why but followed to see what was going on, he then told her she had to leave and starting getting extremely aggressive and proceeded to grab her arm so hard it bruised,he couldn’t seem to tell us why he wanted her to leave… the whole thing was odd and scary. There were multiple members of staff including a manager that just stood…and watched!! It’s extremely alarming to see how many reviews there are regarding the bouncers being aggressive… and the response from tru is just as shocking “sorry you felt mistreated by our team,please contact this number if we can help” what does it take to happen for you to realise how disgusting this behaviour is… It seems to be easier to pretend it’s not going on rather then deal with it, isn’t it time you started acknowledging this behaviour and dealing with it before someone gets really hurt, that’s if someone already hasn’t been!
Great place to congregate with pals, fairly priced drinks, great atmosphere and the DJ's are great! Security are respectful and good at their jobs, when trouble is caused they deal with it effectively rather than beating you and leaving you outside the club on the curb like some local clubs. Great place, definitely a place to go for a good night!
