   I had a disheartening experience at Unit 1 Exeter on 21st Jan 2024. Despite all of us having valid tickets, we were denied entry because one of our group was judged to be too intoxicated. However, this policy seemed inconsistently applied, as we observed several other noticeably drunk individuals being allowed inside. This selective enforcement of rules, especially when we saw no such restrictions for others, felt unfair and discriminatory. It's disappointing to witness such inconsistency in policy application, which tainted our perception of the venue. I hope Unit takes this feedback seriously and works towards fair and consistent treatment of all patrons, regardless of their appearance or group dynamics.

   Great club!! Amazing atmosphere! Staff really friendly and polite, doorstaff were welcoming and had a laugh on the way in. Venue looks really clean and tidy and toilets were way better than the other clubs we went to in Exeter. Drinks prices were reasonable and the event was great, really good DJ!!

   I could NOT thank the bouncers enough when my knee was severely dislocated and collapsed to the ground. He popped my knee back into place! Was given an ice pack and was promptly sent to the hospital for treatment. Thank you so much!!

   This used to be my church and now it’s my Hell following blunder after blunder from the bouncers. I have been unable to get into Unit One, my church, many times now and have been left queuing for hours in the cold and dark- I am not alone in this. The other day my best friend Maxwell was let into Unit One, billed for admission and then kicked out. This was distressing for the friendship group. Im sorry to management for my change of review but I can’t keep quiet about this any longer. Sorry Unit One.

   I went to this club in a super good mood and while I was dancing alone, a guy pulled my hair to annoy me. I came to him to ask him to stop, and eventually I got attacked by him and four of his friends for no reason.. The club took my report and some IDs from the group who attacked me. The group even waited for me outside to try to trap me and beat me up!! Those men were crazy and very dangerous. I did a crime report the next day and after 2-3 weeks of investigation (quite long to get the video and IDs of the attackers from the club…), the police said that they did not have enough evidence to continue their investigation! I believe the club did the minimum to help the police and preferred to protect their ‘regulars’. The attitude of those young guys was very shocking and they might kill some one one day. I would never go out again in Exeter after this terrible experience. I hope this won’t happen again to anyone, and I learnt the hard way that ignorance was the best option in this case… Take care and stop violence!

   Just don't bother. The DJ had an attitude and no taste in music, it's not 2010 anymore. The staff were rude and obnoxious apart from one lady at the door who was absolutely lovely. Loved her. If you see this can I be your friend? Despite entering the building itself my only other regret was not choking on the smoke machine
