   I would give 0 stars if possible. I strongly advise against using this company for airport pickups. We had a confirmed, pre-paid booking for an airport collection. Despite this, the driver left us stranded at the airport with our two young children. When we called him, he was incredibly rude. Customer service was no help, forcing us to pay an additional £110 for a last-minute airport cab. We filed a formal complaint months ago and have yet to receive even an acknowledgment from management. As someone who travels extensively, this is, without doubt, the most unreliable and poorly managed cab company I have ever encountered.

   Booked an airport run in a 6-seater via the app today. Got a phonecall a while later to say the app price was wrong and it would be an extra £20. Then the driver arrived and said tolls weren't included and were added on top. Best part? Wasn't even driving a 6-seater. Felt a bit caught by the short and curlies, given the timings, so agreed and paid, but won't be booking again.

   Just got let down by these guys. Pre-booked and pre-paid for a cab via the WhatsApp bot for an airport drop off. Never showed at the scheduled time, when I called they said I’d booked it for an hour later despite my confirmation message stating I was correct. Rude, dismissive and argumentative. Don’t use.

   Absolutely shocking service received and would advise to use another company. They forgot about our return booking from the airport!!. They failed to contact or show up after the arranged time so I called them, after multiple calls back and forth, the controller gave conflicting information each time we spoke. They had my baby’s car seat which had been left with them for the return trip so we was tied but when they eventually showed up 1hour 35mins later they had the wrong one!!! So we waited over 2 hours with two small children at 2am for them to turn up wrong anyways. No one seems to want to take responsibility after speaking to multiple employees and the ‘boss’ hasn’t responded to my contact. Shocking!

   Was using this over priced cab company for a while until they really messed me around! I asked them to take me from eltham to Stratford for my hair appointment the owner of the company wrote down the wrong adress even after he confirmed it with me!! The driver took me almost to Romford!! I missed my appointment and lost £90 deposit because of THEIR mistake!! I still paid the over priced £40 to get there! I then called and asked for a discount and they wouldn’t give me one! Absolutely disgusting! I will never use them againn

   Terrible service,taxi controller is a very rude and obnoxious lady. Cab drivers charge you more than they should and need to learn the basic navigation skills. I will be reporting this firm to the relevant authorities and immigration system

   First time using Mayday. Was recommended by a friend. Airport transfer from home to Gatwick at 2:45am and driver (Jason) arrived exactly on time. He was polite and professional and helpful. The price was competitive and the booking team (Katie) was excellent. Used them again for the collection from Gatwick, and the were there for us with excellent communication. Driver was Sebastian who was again, a very excellent driver. I would use this company again based on my experience. I promised I wanted to write a review as too many people are very quick to write bad reviews but seem to forget to write good ones when a business has performed well. Thank you.

   I ordered cab using nearby landmark, it’s fifty yards from my house. On arrival I was charged six pounds extra for putting the seat down to accommodate my luggage, no lifting just clicking seat down. Then when we got to destination a road was closed meaning we would have to drive around to the other side of the landmark I had used for easy reference, he claimed this was extra, at which point I freaked out and insisted he let me out of the cab, I struggled the rest of the way home. Two lessons to be learned from this experience. First, use your full address as destination, then they can’t claim travelling to one side or other of a landmark is “extra”. Second, don’t bother with cabs, I traveled twice as far for the same price using an app and the driver didn’t think he had the right to rip me off because the price of fuel is increasing ( this was the drivers justification) This was the last cab ride I will ever make, I will be downloading a selection of apps. Congratulations, what a horrible experience

   Non arrival at designated time. After 15 minutes, I contacted to ascertain to be told that two drivers refused our address and that a further driver was enroute. I asked why our address was refused and was advised that I would be called today to explain...as if! First time I had used the service. In total, 30mins late. I cancelled the pre-bookwd cab home on the journey there as was rather upset as we were late for dinner and thought we had a personal attack on us, only for the return cab to arrive 15 late to pick us up at the end of the evening; the restaurant having to cancel the one that I asked them to arrange. The driver from Mayday, who knows the owner told me that the address was not specific, it was the road, so generic. Nevertheless, what a really poor experience. I'm reinstating my Uber app. At least they don't class me as a criminal. I tried locL business, unfortunately this is what I got!
