   He's knowledgeable that's great but this is where the loophole is. The prices are almost at par what I was quoted by BMW main dealership in Woolwich. When you question Stuart here what brand of Turbo he's using to replace, you'll be taken round and round in circles but would be told to believe that it's original BMW part. Well, BMW use several external manufacturers who supply turbos. The place is filthy dirty but pricing is very much at par with BMW. If you're quoted here £1300 and BMW main dealership quotes you £1400, go to main dealership where at least you can sit in a much clean, tidy and friendly atmosphere if you have to wait like I experienced. Always check your quote from BMW main dealership as well before coming here.

   Stuart is an absolute magician! My car was stranded a few months back. My battery terminal had melted on itself due to a poor battery replacement from another garage due to this my car wouldn’t start and you couldn’t jumpstart it as the terminals had actually melted and disconnected themselves from the battery. I spent so many hours and so much money on different callout mechanics nobody could seem to get the boot open where the battery was stored as I have a BMW 318i E90. My car was stranded in seven Kings after two days I noticed Stuarts shop. So I decided to pay him a visit As I guessed he may be able to help and oh my God, did he! His expertise truly shines through. He managed to pull a wiring harness out of my glove box then as if it was magic he plucked out a single wire out of 100 in the harness and connected it directly to another battery he had and then… POP! My boot had opened. He then managed to connect up my battery terminals even after they were mangled and melted and then asked me to bring it into a shop where he professionally “temporarily” fixed it. He said it would hold just long enough until a new replacement part came well. I got lazy and it actually lasted over six months until I replaced it myself and it probably would’ve lasted as long as the car. I just replaced it as a caution. I cannot recommend Stuart enough. He truly has the expertise when it comes to these cars so much more than any other general garage or Mechanic.

   I recently had the pleasure of having my 2007 BMW E93 serviced by Stewart at BNW Auto Specialist, and I couldn't be more impressed. As someone who's owned this car since 2013, I've encountered my fair share of mechanics. Stewart stands out as one of the most honest, decent, knowledgeable, and transparent mechanics I've ever met. It's truly refreshing to find someone like him in this industry. I took my car to Stewart for an EGR valve replacement, and he handled it with expertise and efficiency. His communication throughout the process was excellent, clearly explaining everything and answering all my questions. He's passionate about his work and takes pride in providing top-notch service. Finding a reliable and trustworthy mechanic can be difficult, but I can confidently recommend Stewart to any car owner, especially those with BMWs. He provides exceptional service and genuine care, which is hard to come by these days. Thank you, Stewart, for your excellent work and for making this experience so positive!

   I initially went in for full service but Stewart advised I only needed minor service as the car had been serviced recently by previously owner. Now how many garages would tell you that? definitely not many. Although I insist on having the full service Stewart told me he would charge me X£ for this Y$ for minor. The point here is that he could have easily made me pay more than necessary. But he did not. He's knowledge on Mercedes is spot on. I don't usually leave reviews but on this occasion Stewart deserved it fully. I had called several garages before deciding to go with BNW. you can clearly see the differences in how you are spoken to. Thank you very much

   I took my 1 series there and Stewart told me he would charge £60 to diagnose the problem- non refundable. A further £420 for labour. Total £480. Job was done fine but later found that I had been charged way over the odds. He used a 50p clip from Euro Car Parts- He showed me the bag! Being charged nearly £500 told me not to use him again. All in all competent but expensive for what he is. Furthermore, I’m not sure why a side alley garage requires email confirmation?? He claimed for offers!! Rather dubious I thought.

Also goes the extra mile to give you advice that others wouldn’t tell you for free. Highly experienced man with years of experience in the industry. Not many like him around.    I have taken about 3 vehicles to Stewart over the years ranging from the basic servicing to the most complex of problems that other garages couldn't work out. Stewart is as professional a person in the car repair and servicing trade that I have come across. He is extremely knowledgeable and runs the business with the greatest of integrity. Absolutely deserves 5 stars across all the prior years of having had works at BNW.
