   On the left: break fluid that ‘they changed 300miles before’ On the right: fresh break fluid that Had a clutch issue that I got fixed at their shop. They changed the master cylinder and we’re supposed to change the fluid as well. Car broke down just 300 miles after their work! Called them and the first response was that we would potentially have to take the gear box off to look at the slave cylinder (over £300 in labour alone, plus parts). I sold the car to a friend of mine and he did not trust that the mechanics I saw actually changed the fluid so he checked and was right. Conclusion: they don’t know what they’re doing. Wouldn’t call them dishonest… no.

   Good Lithuanian garage. Noustabu! My bmw F20 2015 Serpentine/ drive belt tore while driving & was stuck in different parts of engine, crack shaft pulley needed a replacement as well and a aircon pipe damaged due to belt tear.. All was replaced and car ready to go under 3 hours while I waited. It is going to cost as parts & labour is expensive but it is what it is so far no complaints. Happy customer even though I’m not Lithuanian I support the business as they seem to be more honest than local English garages unfortunately.. Aciu thanks again AMT team

   I visited AMT Autos as it is the local garage. Based on the review I got an impression they are an honest, reliable, transparent and affordable mechanic in Rainham. I left my car with them at 9 am for the aircon leak diagnostic and specifically asked them, that I will be told of the cost before they carry out any work? The owner replied yes, we will tell you about the problem and then carry out the work after we have your permission. They didn't mention that the initial diagnostic will be charged at an hourly rate. I phoned them at 11 am just to enquire if they were able to check the car but they didn't. Then I received a call from them around 12 pm that there is a problem with the radiator and compressor which needs changing. I said to them that I will pick up the car and discuss if I want to carry out the work. When I reached there they explain the issues and handover an invoice of £72, £40 for diagnostic, and changing a bulb for £20 + VAT. When I said to them I was not known about these charges in advance they said we check the car, so you will be charged at an hourly rate. I don't expect a bill from them knowing we already discussed this when I left the car. This is a daylight robbery, they are not being transparent about their charges upfront and carry out work (bulb replacement) without my permission. I have learnt my lesson at the cost of £72 and hope that others will save this unexpected cost and learn from my mistake. I will definitely avoid them for any future work.

   If you have problem with your transmission box, don't waste your time and money!!! Company owner keep saying he has more than 25 years experience, but keep asking other garages or engineers how to do repairs. Had my car nearly 4 weeks and nothing, retrieved my car unsafe condition to drive and charged me over 500£, for failing to find a fault. Always full off excuses... Not sure why he is stating that they have facilities to repair gearboxes as they don't have a clue what to do with them. Anyway took my car to other garage, they found problem within 15min repaired car within 5 working days as said. Do yourself a favour do not take your car to AMT Autos!!!

Never had any problem with these guys, because they know what needs to be done that a turbo would work properly. Turbochargers are fitted with care. In addition AMT Autos technicians provide useful information how to take care of your turbo.
