   I like this place, been going there for years, good prices, nice people, fast service. I do have to mention that last time I took my car for the MOT, my 1 pound coin, which I use to access the trolley in the shops, has mysteriously vanished. Disappointed due to this, but won't give it an unreasonable rating as it's a genuinely good place. I'm sure this is a one off. I hope that it has simply fell out of the glove compartment. I'll give them a benefit of a doubt.

   Cant rate this place enough tbh, customer service is spot on and the level of mechanical expertise is exceptional. They really go above & beyond with no messing about. Tony the workshop manager is a brilliant mechanic. Highly recommended!

   Went to this garage, they checked my car and told me the issues. I told them I’d come pick it up and bring it back to have the work done. 2 minutes after I left the place, my car started making a very loud noise. I had to pull up somewhere dangerous - the roundabout right before the a13. A stranger helped me, they looked under my car and found that Beam MoT left a cloth in there which was causing the loud flapping noise as I was driving. We managed to pull it out. I called Beam MoT to let them know and got a very unsympathetic apology. I ended up taking my car to a different garage, it was left there for 2 weeks. The other garage found another huge grey cloth tangled inside my car when replacing my subframe. Go there at your own risk. It seems as if, if you don’t get your work done there, they purposely cause issues in your car so you bring it back.

   Service was good and timely. The only reason I am giving a 3 star is that this garage is pricey. The labour was more expensive than some branded garages. At this current economic situation, price matters a lot.

   Second time using them and they seem to be honest and fairly priced. Can’t comment on the quality of work as I only had 2 MOTs and a small repair done, but will definitely use them again.

   Finding a reputable and trustworthy garage is far more difficult than it should be. I've been guilty in the past of skimping on my repairs and going to the cheapest quote. My car has suffered as a result. Beam MOT are honest, reliable and transparent. Prices are known up front, work is carried out in an extremely timely and transparent manner. I called at 10:15 this morning for a repair, I was told to bring the car straight away, problem was diagnosed and the part was ordered. I'm sitting here at 13:30 and the repair is already completed! I've had MOT's at Beam many times for previous cars and always felt like they were honest - I'm not taking my new car anywhere else. If you want a garage where you don't have to have that sinking feeling every time you walk in - I'd suggest Beam. They're a shining example that if you don't rip people off, you'll be successful and your reputation will provide all the advertising you need.

   This garage came highly recommended by my aunt and uncle and so I booked my vehicle in for a service. I mentioned I had an issue with the brake lights and the reverse light. I dropped my car off in the afternoon and it was well received by staff. The car was ready to be collected by 10am the following morning. On collecting the vehicle, staff again were friendly and welcoming. My car was parked around the back and I was told to walk round and collect it myself. When approaching my car I could see the drivers window was down and the car was left unlocked with the keys in the centre console, which means anyone could have walked in and taken my car. Normally the vehicle should be kept locked and the keys are kept in the office until the driver comes to collect it. Furthermore I had my vehicle valeted beforehand so they could work with the vehicle clean. I completely understand the exterior getting workshop dust on it but the interior and dash were covered in a thick layer of dust which is completely unacceptable. I've had to have it deep cleaned again as the dust is not good for mine or my kids asthma. To top it all off when I got home, with the help of my partner, I checked the brake lights and the reverse light and noticed they didn't change the reverse light which was the main reason I went in. I am extremely disappointed with the overall experience, it is very unprofessional and in future I will find another local garage that does what is required and save myself the cab fare
