I've been using Hayes Engineering for for all my servicing, MOTs, Tyres and and anything else for around 15 years now. These guys are great. Very helpful, polite, and always offering sound advice and all at what I consider very reasonable prices. Thank you guys for looking after me for all this time. Great work.

Very impressed with the honest and efficient service at Hayes Engineering. They were recommended to me by my neighbour when my car developed a brake fluid leak, so booked it in at the earliest opportunity. Within an hour and a half of having my car, the issue was investigated, repaired and road tested. Their staff are very friendly and professional. I will definitely be visiting them again when required. Highly recommended and far better than any main dealers I've experienced in the past.
I’ve used Hayes a few times over the years and never had any issues. Have had my car and my bike MOT’d and the price is reasonable. They make a cracking cup of tea whilst you wait too. I also had an issue with some clips for my exhaust system. I bought the relevant parts on eBay and dropped by to Hayes to ask if they could fit me in at some point to fit them. They chucked my car on the ramps there and then and i was back on the road within 20 minutes, and they charged me a very good price for the work.
Use this place for my MOT, helpful efficient service with lovely staff. Honest people here that will not try and pull one over on you, comfortable waiting area where you can see inside the garage to help pass the time. Was offered a hot drink whilst I waited, will always return here for my MOT for the wonderful experience and genuine work :)
Brought my car(Subaru Outback) there to be checked and MOT. They said it needed new CV joints(inner) and brake pads, I gave them the go ahead to replace them for both sides. Two months later(February 2020 or 1500 miles) I heard clicking sound on roundabouts etc. I thought it was the outer CV joints as I knew the inner were replaced in December 2019. Went back in the shop to ask for price of the outer CV joints and wheel bearing as mine were hauling quite a lot. The fella at the desk surprised me with the words - "WE DON'T SERVICE SUBARU'S"! On the next day I went with my invoice that I've paid £420 for the works and ask them if they were servicing Subaru's, he thought I was talking about a tuned Subaru Impreza without even asking me what the car was. After checking from their side - they said that only CV BOOT WAS REPLACED AND NOT THE JOINT. They explained that this was their usual practice to clean the joint, grease it and replaced the protecting rubber(CV boot). They also said that there is nothing wrong with my car as well, only one anti roll bar linkage. After I checked the car myself, I had to order - 4no wheel bearings 4no anti roll bar linkages tie rod ends - inner and outer rear brake discs plus brake pads front suspension arm's bushes and ball joints Condition of all of the above parts was far from good or safe. You can see the condition in the video and pictures below. Very unreliable mechanics, they will lie to you and will not admit any fault on their side. I suggest to avoid them as these lies may cause a terrible accident!!!
