Folks here were so accommodating, and sorted us out after an accident. They looked after us well, sorted out a curtesy car in minutes, sorted out the claim from start to money in the bank within a week. The team was great, and very much appreciated their kindness.

Ref: J 1009558 From booking my car for accident repair and from start to finish I’m very satisfied with the result. Customer service at Solus was excellent and person I spoke to few times ( Dora ) if I remember her name correctly, she was very helpful and knowledgeable, polite. I collect my car two days ago and I am very grateful to all the people who were involved repairing my car and I can’t imagine how excellent work has been done, my car looks amazing and perfectly same as before accident happened. Like to thank all the Solus team for doing great job. Thanks again Dora for excellent customer service.

Was unhappy at the first time they took my car in didn’t sort my bumper out correctly due to the blending. So was back and forth with aviva and them. Finally, car went in again and they managed to sort it out properly. Thank you.

The customer service is absolutely terrible. My van was booked for some repairs to be done to it due to an accident which happened 3 years ago. Going back & forth with insurance and court etc we finally won the case and the repairs were approved & booked to Solus in Erith. They asked for images to be uploaded via their app which I did and explained all of the damages which I had already reported 3 years ago. Before they had even collected the van, they started ringing my phone several times at different times questioning the damages saying they look old! Well if you had read the reports you’d have seen the accident was 3 years ago. Then saying why the MOT has passed given the damages I had explained and that they just can’t see how that was done! Well I’m not an expert maybe you should question the MOT centre. Then to go on and say this could be a write off etc Absolutely shambles… you hadn’t even picked up the van to physically inspect it and yet you have come to all of these conclusion’s and questioning my dignity and all sorts as if I had passed the MOT’s personally for the past couple of years. So unprofessional and would not recommend them to anyone. I have cancelled my appointment with them and there is no way I would ever agree to any repairs to be done to my vehicle by them not now and not in the future. So frustrating!! My car needed repairs after someone reversed into it, and my insurance company referred me to Solus. Initially, everything went smoothly — the repair was booked, the car was collected, and everyone I interacted with was polite and professional. If things had ended there, this would likely have been a five-star review. Unfortunately, issues started when the car was returned. The repaired area had a visible discoloured patch around 4cm wide. It was difficult to photograph clearly, but still noticeable — and something that really should have been caught during their quality checks before handing the car back. Solus acknowledged the issue and arranged to take the car back in. I was told it would be a one-day job (collected in the morning, returned in the evening), and since I had two consecutive days off, I even offered for them to return it the following morning to avoid rushing the repair. Since the car was going back anyway, I asked if they could also look at a couple of small dings on the door. I was told an engineer would assess and get in touch with a quote — but instead, I received a surprise estimate for £1,300. Needless to say, I didn’t go ahead with that. When they collected my car, they provided a courtesy vehicle, which I only used once — and that was enough. It reeked of cigarette smoke (possibly something stronger), wasn’t very clean, and I even found nail clippings on the floor. My car was supposed to be returned at 7:00am the next morning. I’m an early riser due to work (4:00am starts), but there was no update, no courtesy call — nothing. By 7:30am, still silence. I called at 8:00am and was told there had been a problem, but no one had thought to let me know. Getting up early on my day off only to be left waiting was incredibly frustrating. The most disappointing part is that all of this could have been avoided if the initial repair had been done properly. Instead, it turned into a drawn-out and needlessly inconvenient process. A frustrating and underwhelming experience overall.

This garage told me my car was written off and I definitely regret trusting them as I have later on now found out that it actually got repaired and resold! Not trust worthy! Bunch of scammers!

The worst garage I have ever come across! My car was sent in to replace the bumper and some some other issues. Although the bumper was fixed, the car came back with more problems such as my BMW badge was scratched, my new brakes which I changed just a few months ago through bmw were now suddenly squeaking, my passenger side headlight was condensed inside and on top of that they left some sort of strong, sticky residue on my car which I couldn’t take off. The garage had my car for 18 days and couldn’t fix all the issues but instead added more to it! I called to complain on Friday about the matter and was told I will get a call on the day but it has been 6 days and had no call back. So disappointed and disgusted that they could do this to someone’s car and send it back like that. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend this garage to anyone.

Was given solus to repair my car via my insurance company and have been very pleased. Absolutely fantastic service and communication. Really impressed with the speed and freindly communication from all of the team at solus from the get go! They picked up and dropped off my car at convenient times and always a phone call prior. Excellent repair work to the bumper of my car. Would highly recommend.

Had to completely redo my review. Had an absolute nightmare with Solus I had paint stripper poured onto my car. The insurance company were great & prompt. However, Solus... on the other hand!!!! Well, they stripped &,resprayed my car 3 times as it kept coming back with what I can only explain as, as rash, which wasn't there when it went it. Eventually, I was satisfied with the work as they completely replaced the boot &, bonnet due to the 'rash'! .Until.. the rear windscreen shattered. I have a hard top convertible BMW which Solus forgot to tighten the screws in the boot when they replaced it! You can only imagine my frustration. There were other issues too....the bonnet badge fell off, the battery dying due to my car being stationary for so long which led to a misfire & all fuel injectors being replaced! The list was endless. 18 months on, I finally get my car back. My advice....you know what that is!
