   First (and last) time here, decided to try a new place and was met with disappointment. The guy next to the window was constantly on his phone while also trying to give me a haircut, which is extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t mind it so much if he gave ma a good cut but afterwards I had to visit another barber to get his „fade” fixed as the back of my hair had nothing to do with a fade

   Original review :Friendly from the moment I walked in great barber shop feel and good conversation throughout an even better cut. Second visit: I was met with the complete polar opposite from staff this time just have you booked I replied no to be told to scan a QR code no appointments available. Last time I visited I hadn’t booked and was told walk in’s are welcome and asked what I was after and asked if I didn’t mind waiting. They might have been busy this time fair enough but shouldn’t be made to feel like an idiot for walking in to a barbers for a haircut.

   I started going to BarbersNo1 Formby at the start of last year, following a recommendation. I got my hair cut by the store manager, Jay. Even though I was a new customer Jay made me feel welcome, was down to earth and a good laugh. I asked for a skin fade and trim on top, it was genuinely the best haircut I’ve ever had - his attention to detail is second to none. I’ve been visiting the store and Jay ever since, using the online booking system. It is easy to use and easy to request your preferred barber. I honestly can’t recommend the shop enough, especially Jay. He’s a top barber who clearly knows his stuff. I’d definitely recommend
