Not had good experiences going to this doctors or Bilston medical centre, reception staff never seem to want to help, difficult to get an appointment booked even just to try and get a repeat prescription, I’ve moved docters
I wouldn't even give it a one to be honest. The receptionists are so rude and don't even bother understanding your problem. I called them about medication that was sent to them by a doctor at new cross, but they proceeded to tell me they hadn't received anything. The receptionist started talking to me rudely and raising her voice but when I raised my voice even the slightest she told me she was going to cut the call and not help me any further. They are so rude and unreasonable, they don't even bother trying to help you or understand what your problem is. They act so rudely and don't even bother helping you or if you ask them something they don't even know what they are talking about most of the time, and don't even bother. They don't understand your problem and always just do what they want to do. The receptionist don't even know how to talk to the paitients, or how they should treat them. They are so clueless and unreasonable.
I stayed with the practice due to a couple of the doctors having a better understanding of my condition. However, this all changed when they migrated to Health and Beyond. Impossible to get an appointment, phones always busy and the online form as a form of triage is a joke. Round in circles with online referrals to opticians and pharmacists who even say to the doctors that I need to be seen by them. Two weeks to get a medical exemption form completed. The online form, you'd think would be open 24/7 and they would deal with each ticket, because that's what this is. A ticket System. But no, the online service is only open when the surgery is open. So, you try and register an admin request e.g. a medical exemption certificate, at the weekend. Nope, have to wait till Monday when the reception staff get the hamsters on the wheel. Since becoming part of Health and Beyond this practice has untrained staff on reception and is pointless trying to reason with them. Do yourself a favour and find a different GP.
Disgusting practice and handling of information, as well as negligent staff who don't answer phones and as of now, implementing the online service (which all enquiries have to pass through now) which can close at any time mind you. Lost all my paperwork, despite my surgeon forwarding back my surgery as urgent, still awaiting any update as far as them transferring my data to them - this has been ongoing for 7 months now. Imagine GP staff not abiding by their own disabled parking on site? No space for disabled patients to park because the entire CUSTOMER parking lot is full of staff cars; receptionist staff are ignorant and will blatantly finish their off-task conversation in front of you. Constantly have to remind them to fulfil my repeat prescription and even ettingshall pharmacy has recommended that I change GP, which I definitely will be doing once I get my last prescription. If you have any urgent medical requirements for assistance or any long-term medical conditions - invest in a GP that will actually invest in you, cause saying Ettinghsall medical practice is bone idle is simply and understatement. Did I also mention I was misdiagnosed here?
Absolutely disgusting. The one receptionist is terrible awful attitude I've told her several times about her attitude.Tonight been waiting for over 2 hours to get through when gets to position one cuts you off. Get through finally she answered call her attitude is awful. She talks to people like dirt I must get her name and get her reported. Don't know who she thinks she is
First time I've used this surgery, I was referred from my usual GP as they were short staffed. The surgery is fairly new, plenty parking and easy to get to via car. Surgery was pretty much empty when I arrived. The GP, which I believe was Dr Latunji was very good, better than average, she listened diligently to my issue and diagnosed it perfectly and advised what to do next, she also advised further more than she needed to so quite pleased with my visit. We're quick to fault Drs these days but my experience here was a good one. I hope others have an A1 experience too.
Just absolutely appalling, last week I contacted someone here. They finally answered after so long, receptionist says I need to call in a 8am. Just today I'm on hold to the surgery, literally on phone to them waiting 45 mins and I see one receptionist at ettingshall. I go to the centre and ask Why they're not answering their phone. According to the receptionist there, I needed to call at 9am and apparently I need to call bilston urban village for an appointment. This is seriously unacceptable behaviour and honestly really bad. I've been waiting 2 weeks now to book an appointment and it's urgent. This is a joke !!!
Is it me or are the doctors just bone idle? I used to consider GPs as being at the top of the community, but Health and Beyond a Joke and proved doctors are no better than solicitors. At least solicitors pay their secretaries properly unlike H&B. And this is noway me being critical of the the reception staff this is aimed squarely at the lazy so called doctors. When there is a tragedy, I hope Hell and Beyond get sued so badly that they are forced in to bankruptcy and we might get our surgery back. The reception staff are absolutely wonderful.
Phone line is always engaged then when you eventually get through the staff never pick up. I've been in the waiting area when other people are calling via telephone and there are 4 members of staff in reception, gossiping away and choosing not to answer the phone. Absolutely ridiculous system especially when you have to call at 8am. Waiting times to see the doctor are also usually an hour or more, yet if you are even 2 minutes late your appointment gets cancelled. Then when the doctor sees you it's for only a couple of minutes and you are shrugged away as if you're imagining your symptoms and there is ko compassion from the doctor. Really disappointed with the service here.
