Best barber shop in london road. I tried em all and sorry to say others are not that good. Josh at "our barber" did my cut. It was better than my expectations and worth every penny. I'll come back again
I recently had a cut at this establishment and I have to say from start to finish it was excellent. I was welcomed all most immediately when I walked in. Was offered coffee or tea They also had an option of cold drinks. The barber that cut my hair my a Irish dude call Richie, who was probably the most professional barber I came across very understanding on the desired hairstyle I wanted it was the best haircut I ever had in my life. Along with the best trim this Irish did was the funniest dude I really enjoyed my experience it I strongly recommend booking in with these guys especially Richie Thanks guys 5star
Excellent service as always! I’ve been getting a trim from Michael for over 6 years and the consistency never fades. Welcomed always with a freshly made coffee, followed by a detailed, precise trim tailored to my preference! Restoring the confidence every time.
I’ve previously visited numerous barbers in Liverpool, and can confirm that Our Barber is by far the best I have been to. Michael is a friendly and well experienced barber, who always makes me feel welcome, and does a 10/10 haircut every time. I have also had great experiences with the other barbers in the shop, all good lads in there. I couldn’t recommend the shop enough.

The gentleman I had was not bad at cutting hair but obviously lacking in experience and a well-thought through process with straight razor shaves. What was more frustrating was that as someone from out of town, it seemed to me was essentially treated worse than a standard local customer despite paying almost twice the usual price -- for their full (haircut and shave) package. The barber literally slipped with his razor twice on my upper chin, until I pursed my lips for him, something someone more experienced would have known to ask. He also used an unusually slippery kind of oil that was probably not sk well-suited for the job (if not dangerous...). There were various other things in the shaving process that just seemed wrong or out of place. He said a typical client might get this service at most 1-2x a year so, fair enough -- this isn't their speciality. But be aware of the situation if you are thinking of coming here for the shave. As for the haircut, it was fine in the end, not incredible but quite fair, but it was a strange and very stressful experience getting there. I arrived bang on time, and he made me wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, chilling and chatting with his earlier client. "Fine," I thought, "it's a Sunday -- take it to easy. He's a relaxed and nice man who'll also go over with you." Instead, after telling me he "couldn't see my picture clearly enough" (no other barber has ever told me this), he ultimately rushed through, grilling me with questions I've never been asked by a barber before ("exactly this length, right?" "No, no of course I'm going to cut that, but after I cut that this length underneath here?" "I'll have to charge for two haircuts if this needs to be redone later") giving me irritated vibes repeatedly. Despite all the intense questions, he was often unwilling to even let me hold the mirror close enough that I could actually see what he had done. I want to be clear that he tried very hard to be polite overall, but he did things like also openly makee fun of to his colleagues when I mentioned my occupation, probably as some kind of loyalty that he was still "a regular guy" (unlike me, apparently), but then pretended he never said anything and the continued passive aggression/denied just made me feel awkward if not unwelcome. Not the vibe you hope for when you trek to a barbershop on a weekend. This is first and foremost clearly a place for locals -- and if you're only coming for a haircut (and know EXACTLY what you want), you'll most likely have a decent experience. But I can't recommend it for shaves, and I wouldn't come here unless you are willing and able to give ultra-precise instructions (and fight for your time slot!). And bring cash. There is a commission-free cash machine that is about 6 minutes on foot away, but cards are not accepted by this business.
Have had my hair cut in this place twice now, once by Michael and once by Luke and both are down to earth nice guys with serious talent for barbering. I got a skinfade and they do it perfect and check in along the way to make sure your happy. Shop smells great, drinks on offer and floors are clean. Will be using this place from now on.
Everything about this barbershop is top class. They have only recently opened shop so at the moment have 2/3 staff but they somehow manage to constantly keep the place fresh & clean whilst providing free drinks while you wait. In this shop you are guaranteed a good haircut. The staff have years of experience and are masters of their craft. Always have a laugh in there too staff are really friendly always smiling can tell they love what they do. Great price as well for the service you get. Highly recommend this place is special!!
