Undoubtedly the best place in the city for a haircut. I’ve been going to Tom for years and the cuts are always just a higher standard than when it’s done anywhere else. I first visited Tom when he worked in a barbers in Liverpool City Centre off the recommendation of a good friend back in 2012, I've never been to another barber since. With cutting hair he's second to non and is well known for being a perfectionist. I started losing my hair and decided to accept defeat and shave it all off. Luckily Tom had opened Skalpers by then and was performing the SMP procedures. Tom worked around me and my schedule to allow me minimum time off work and even allowed me to pay in instalments which made the treatment affordable. I had seen SMP treatment a long time ago while researching hair loss on the internet but one thing that always put me off was the clinic feel of the places performing it. I didn't want to feel like I was in a hospital getting this treatment done. Each session was relaxed, music playing, regular breaks to take a breath, stretch your legs, have a drink, anything you need to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I can safely say since having the SMP done it has changed my life, I used to worry constantly about my hair line and what it looked like, if people were looking at it, everything. But since my second sessions and especially my third and final session I now have so much more confidence in my appearance and just in general. I couldn't be happier with results and I would recommend Skalpers to anyone (with or without a full head of hair) this business really caters for everyone and is run with a friendly, family feeling to it you feel at home every time you visit. I look forward to seeing just how far this business can grow, it's almost a shame I can't go back for trims anymore!
Fantastic Barbers in a fantastic setting. Been following Tom round his shops all my adult life and have never been let down with my hair cut only ever happy, he's is great company and always makes you feel welcome would highly recommend.
Been going to Tom for years and ive never been let down! Went to Skalpers today for the first time and was greeted with a beer whilst I waited. As usual my chop was way above standards, brilliant shop, fantastic barber, What's not to miss here! 10/10 would reccomend.
