   Problem A highly and well maintained 2018 Audi S4 that developed a misfire, which led to a more serious issue (a faulty piston that damaged/scored the engine block), being the need for a new engine after being fleeced by the Main Stealer (local Audi dealership), who charged to diagnose a problem instead of resolving the issue. I was quoted ridiculous figures for an unguaranteed fix/reconditioned/engine (quoted between £15k/£20k). A nightmare! Solution Having done extensive research (including visiting the premises), I stumbled across Deutsche Auto Centre following the reviews. I was greeted by Nathan, Dan, Tom and Lunar (the latter is Deutsch Auto Center's furry family member). Nathan and Dan were very hands on and instilled me with confidence and trust thanks to their knowledge, expertise, professionalism and confidence with understanding the issue, sharing use cases and getting the job done. People buy into people. Nathan sourced a secondhand engine from Global Parts (a trusted and reliable company who is tried and tested by Deutsche Auto Centre) at £4,600. Fitting cost was more than fair and fell within budget expectations. Pictures were shared with me whilst work was being carried out, delivering even more transparency. Result Tom was/is an absolutely amazing mechanic and the engine was fitted to a high standard! I couldn't have asked for a better service and experience! I want to thank you guys for being super transparent, professional, personable and hands on. You delivered reassurance, a satisfactory solution and dealt with my problem, which was an absolute nightmare! Deutsche Auto Centre's exceptional service included being picked up and dropped off from the train station (Slade Green). So, If you're looking for a communicative, transparent, highly experienced and professional company to fix your beloved Audi/VW then look no further than Deutsche Auto Centre!    Found these guys by chance… being advertised as German vehicle specialists knew had to give them the opportunity to specialise in our Vauxhall!!! Wow what a find, Nathan & his team are the go to if have any engine problems…. the service received outstanding. Had the famous wet belt issue with 1.2 Stellantis group, but no early warnings of oil pressure fault, but without hesitation these guys put us back on the road within 5 days when even getting turned away from main dealers ( not taking responsibility for well known latent defect in manufacturing!!! If anyone out there with engine related issues… give these guys a chance… you won’t be disappointed. Even get warranty with their workmanship… now you decide. Returned back today with car to get oil/filter change & checks as per their warranty. Had couple slight issues with car that mentioned to the team & without any hesitation got to work on solving. Replaced Spark plug as result of poor quality part issue, at no further expense to us!! As to now, after all their workmanship car working better than before. All credit to Nathan and the team, if in doubt get yr car and yourself to them to get you back on the road….. they don’t disappoint!!

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "We recently had an engine rebuild done by Deutsch Auto Centre, and I have to say—the service we received was absolutely first-class. Our journey started back in October 2024 when we encountered an issue with our Skoda Octavia 1.8 TSI burning oil. After searching locally in the North East, we struggled to find anyone who could pinpoint the exact problem. Most garages gave us the usual ‘drop it off, and we’ll have a look’ response. Thankfully, we reached out to Deutsch Auto Centre and spoke with Nathan. Within just three minutes on the phone, he not only diagnosed the issue but also explained exactly which parts needed to be replaced—his knowledge was truly impressive! Initially, it sounded too good to be true, so instead of opting for their engine collection service, we decided to drive 287 miles to drop off the engine ourselves and see their workshop firsthand. After a long five-hour journey, we were warmly greeted by Nathan, who gave us a tour of the facility. It was immediately clear that we were in the right place—these guys know their stuff! The professionalism, expertise, and quality of work at Deutsch Auto Centre exceeded our expectations. Since then, I’ve recommended them to friends in the motor trade without hesitation.    Really lovely guys who helped my husband and I out of a disastrous situation where we were both extremely stressed and upset following our own mistakes! They were speedy, supportive and installed a reconditioned engine, fixed various elements and serviced our car - it genuinely runs like new. Their warranty is great and we have just had the 500 mile oil and filter change and the chaps are happy with the way things are going. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. They were really supportive in what was a very distressing time and we have managed to have our much loved family car salvaged. Don’t look anywhere else, these guys are brilliant and great value.

   It saddens me to write a negative review of Deutsch Auto, Dartford. But I have experienced so much misfortune with this outfit. It has cost me hundreds of Pounds to correct their shoddy work. I had to rebuild the top half of my engine for a third time.- (by two independent garages.) One can only assume that when an engine is put back together- as a layman, you trust the mechanics doing the work. The internal components of an engine cannot be checked. In conclusion I would not trust these people to build my Grandson's Lego. Enough said! So be very aware and diligent.

   Excellent service from the guys at Deutsch Auto Centre. Rebuilt the engine on my Audi TT following a timing chain failure. Job was completed on time and as specified. 3k miles already done and it’s running just like it was before the failure occurred. The mechanics here are engine specialists and clearly know their stuff. Nathan, who runs the set up is really efficient, straight talking and nothing is too much trouble which is just what you want in these situations. Thanks very much for a great service guys!

   We had a concern from a customer we sold a car to the typical high oil consumption issue on Audi A5 2.0 TFSI. Originally wanted to purchase an engine from their listing, however they had no stock so agreed to drop the car and get the engine out and rebuild from scratch. Dropped it Saturday got a call Tuesday mid day to say its been complete!! Warranty states best pratice to bring back for oil change from 500 miles Garry accepted the fact I'm 2 hours away and it would be a nightmare getting to and back again to them so agreed we do this at our garage. Drove it back checked the digital oil level and was already on half highly concerned as this was the reason I had to get the rebuild done called the garage straight away and advised it was "just settling" topped up the 1 litre today as the main oil low light appeared asking for 1 litre and will test for next few days done 198 miles so far. (Read online that rebuilds do take high consumption at the start)... I did call today during opening hours Mobile was off and no answer on landline (left a voicemail) regarding this is 110% the case to reassure my customer. Engine light appeared again but looking into this ourseleves and changing the o2 oxygen sensor or worstcase catalyst converter in few days to hopefully fix. The garage is located in a busy industrial estate do not be put off it's a proper garage with proper staff. I travelled this far up to get it sorted as mechanics in my local area tend to inflate prices and never quick...! As traders we need loyal and trusted garages this is most likely our no1 go to garage if this rebuild is a success which I'm sure of. I will update this review in coming days with more images but massive thank you!!!!!!!

   We recently had a complete engine rebuild plus new clutch fitted to our Skoda. The service was very good and lifts to/from the nearest railway station was offered (& accepted) by them. All in all, a positive experience. PS Do not be put off by the location and rather scruffy surroundings, that does not impact on the quality of the work & service.
