   First time attending today. Went for a haircut at a more highly rated barbers in Formby having recently moved and regret it massively. Having been unhappy with my own haircut, I decided to take my 6 year old son here for his rather than going to the same place. The difference was day and night and a completely different atmosphere. The lady who cut his hair was brilliant. Really great with him on a personal level and gave him a great trim. I will be coming here with my son going forward.

   Pretty shameful. Got a "scissor cut" with 90 percent of it being with a buzz cutter which kept making loud noises every 10 seconds which meant equipment is poorly maintained. The girl doing my hair put no effort into it whatsoever and tugged at my hair as if she was playing tug of war. Actually bloody ridiculous and I bled once. I reccommend not coming here or taking your child for a haircut here unless you want torture. Bloody useless and got charged 15 quid for it.

   Been going to Clives must be 30 years now always got a decent haircur but he seems to have semi retired now. Went there on wednesday afternoon, will not be going back. Shouldnt let staff loose on peoples hair till they are fully trained up, the girl made a bit of a mess of it. Wife gave me some stick. Never mind live and learn.
