Didn't listen to what I asked for, shaved it way too high and short and when I explained this I was told it just needs blending and it was correct. When he attempted to blend it, it didn't improve nor was it even done correctly.
Use to be good years ago when first opened and the owner would be there, now it’s different staff all the time never know the type of cut you’re going to get. Last time we went was a Sunday which was really handy as not many places open on a Sunday and butchered both my partner and sons hair so now will not be going back. Time before that on back to school hair cut didn’t even listen to what I had wanted on son and shaved his head but at that point when seen what he was doing it was past rectifying so had to wait couple of weeks for it to go back out.
Been coming here for for cut since I have moved to the area. All staff are good barbers and very polite. Last few times I had my hair done by Paran(sorry if I got that wrong) and I have been so happy with the service. Excellent attention to detail and good recommendations on what would suit me the best. Top barbers place.
Cannot recommended this place unfortunately. When I specifically asked for a scissor cut, the guy proceeded to reach for the clippers and did a three all round, making the sides way too short. Not what I asked for. Clearly couldn’t be bothered to do it with a pair of scissors. I guess that’s too much effort. I politely said the cut wasn’t what I asked for, at which point I was hoping for a bit off the bill as compensation. I was still charged the full amount, which I payed reluctantly since I didn’t wish to cause a scene. Won’t be coming here again, which is a shame, as I always like to support local businesses.
Had my hair cut, beard trimmed... nose and ear wax, plus hot towel treatment. Very pleased. Value for money at £33. Barber was very nice and friendly... paid attention to what I wanted. Wasn't rushed at all. Premises were stylish, trendy, welcoming and spotlessly clean.

First time I got the haircut I asked for. Cost was £8.00. Last time (recently) I was persuaded to get a much shorter cut. Cost £11.00. Now i have to put up with jokes about it. Advice: Listen to your customers. I appreciate that you took the trouble to reply, but I was assured the cut would not be too short so I would still request that you listen to customers. And raising price from £11.00 to £8.00 is far beyond inflation. I would like to say though that your barbers are skilled and friendly.
Went to this barber shop about a year ago for an event I was attending, and for a 20 year old I am very picky with my haircuts so this was a big risk me going here not knowing anything about it. I ended up going with a barber called shwan and getting a skin fade.. To this day it has been the best haircut iv ever had! I have been with “professional” barbers that charge £50 and come to your home but this barber took the leader board with a £15 haircut! I have only been to this barber ones before as it’s so far away from me but if I’m ever near by I definitely know where I’m going!
This is the best of the best in Turkish barbers. Cool decor, absolutely top notch barbers. If you go have the full works it’s worth every penny. Well done for bringing some Turkish / Kurdish to our lovely village. This and the wonderful team at AMOR across the road are taking things up a notch. This isn’t just a haircut, it’s a full on bloke experience. Recommended
