   AVOID AVOID AVOID We had a MOT done here 2 weeks ago and the car failed on the brakes. Surprise surprise they had availability immediately to replace the brakes but we decided to take our car to our repair guy and he measured and said no way the brakes need doing. So back we went to Best (!) and asked the MOT chap to recheck. At this stage he got very angry and almost physical, surely a sign of guilt. We decided to appeal as completely trust our repair garage and got a call from DVSA who came to check the car on the drive initially. After reviewing the car (by eye) he agreed to get it re-tested and guess what: the car PASSED. Best service centre in Guildford I am afraid to say are complete scammers and fail your car to get you to pay for repairs that are not needed as proven by the above. I am very glad we proceeded with the appeal but it caused a lot of unneeded stress. Worth it though to expose this awful centre. Please do not go here, wish I had read reviews. Also all the reviews saying: they were so helpful repairing car on same day and redoing MOT, ask yourself if MOT should have failed in the first place

   Great job and at an awesome price. Have a small BMW i3 and urgently needed an MOT. Called first thing and they fitted me in same day. Did a thorough job. Needed tyres which I sourced and had fitted externally for speed. They were then able to retest and pass that afternoon. First rate service. MOT chap / owner was really knowledgable and solid chap. Highly recommend. Will use in the future for sure!

   Amazing service. Honest and professional ,friendly. Went in to get my wheel bearing replaced on golf gti ,as been told by another garage it needed doing asap. They looked at it and told me its fine .not charged me .Saving me loads of money . Can't thank them enough for being honest. Could of ripped me off but didn't. Would recommend them to my family and friends. I will be taking my car back for MOT and anything else if and when I need to. Top guys . Thank you so much.

   My car was written off while it was in the care of this garage — their mechanic crashed into it while driving a garage owned car. That was over 6 weeks ago. Since then, I’ve had no l resolution, minimal communication, and no accountability. When I managed to get hold of the director (Lee), not only was he completely unhelpful, but he also swore at me during the call — unbelievably unprofessional behaviour from someone responsible for customer care. I’ve been left without a car, ignored for weeks, and treated with total disrespect. If you value your car or expect any level of professionalism, I would strongly advise staying away from this garage.

   Excellent service!! Called this company for the first time this morning to ask if they would look under the car due to a rattle (as my garage was too busy) as I am doing a long journey tomorrow, and they fitted me straight in. Turned up and they put it straight on the ramp and gave it a thorough check, plus under the bonnet. Matt was friendly and helpful. Found a stone rattling around. No charge! Very decent of them. Will definitely return.

   Had my MOT & some repairs with them last year and went back for my MOT this year and will use them on a future repair coming up. I 100% trust this garage completely. They are honest, fast, don’t overcharge, don’t add on unnecessary jobs to get more money out of you, in fact if they know how to save you money on a job they tell you. If another garage is quoting silly money for a job they tell you. This is why they will always have my business and I recommend them to my friends. Great garage.

   Great local garage. Very happy to talk through repair options, what is needed and why. Work carried out to an excellent standard. I'm reasonably aware of how cars work, yet still have that fear, that through ignorance, I'll end up getting ripped off. They actually told me not to get a couple of advisories fixed, because they really weren't necessary at the moment and it would have blown my budget. That kind of service is a proper gem to find. I fully recommend, even though i might have to wait a bit if it makes them busy!

   The Mot. I have been negative with two small things, I have gone to this garage The best service, and they have given me an estimate of £530, I have been asked not to repair it, because the car is cheap and it is not worth paying so much. When I went to pick it up, I paid £90 for the service, when I didn't need it (at the Mot they told me about the problem with the car, it doesn't need another service). I paid and started the car and it wouldn't start, the mechanic came and did something and then yes. The following day the car shows me a yellow light on the board, which means that something serious is happening to the car, which can be blocked in the middle of the street. That same day the window went down and it hasn't gone back up, I was trying to assert myself and I couldn't and also the whole car was shaking, I had the feeling that it was going to collapse at any moment. All these things did not happen to the car before the garage, I know my car, I know how it was before, I had little to fix, but after the garage I can't fix it anymore, because the people in the workshop have had more problems than usual. What did I have? I forgot to say that when the garage called me to pick up the car, the garage manager offered me £150 to leave the car with him. it is a shame. When you go to have your car repaired and get ripped off like that. Now I called the car depot, to throw it away because it would cost me a lot to repair it, after visiting “The best service”. Guys you have to be legal in your work, what you do is a scam.
