   I booked a morning service and MOT, and the car was collected early, which was great. However, I was very concerned when 3pm came, payment had already been taken from my bank account, but my car still wasn’t returned. When I called to ask for an update, I was spoken to quite rudely by a member of staff who told me they had 17 cars to deal with and hadn’t even had time to eat. I was also told that I should have informed them if I needed my car back by a certain time for school collection. This was my first time using this garage, and unlike other places I’ve been, I received no calls, and no update about what had or hadn’t been done to my car. To remove the tires, the car tools were used as I found one on my front seat and the other in the boot , not where they were supposed to be. For improvement, I would suggest: • Better communication with customers (updates on progress and paperwork provided) • Sticking to the timings that are booked • Treating customers with a more respectful and professional attitude • Not overbooking cars if the workload cannot be managed In the end, my car was returned after 4pm, which forced me to use Uber for school pick-up adding an additional £20 Overall, I was left disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service

   Took my car down for windscreen pump replacement last week, guys got me in quick and done the work in couple of hours! Unfortunately, a couple clips for wheel arch were not put back, however, once noticed and informed SMS, they were very accommodating to rectify this and done it within matter minutes. Cant fault the work or customer service, will definitely have confidence to take my car back for repair there!

   Used SMS Motors for a last minute MOT assessment due to work commitments. John offered a smooth pick-up and delivery service which was a lifesaver and in addition identified and promptly fixed a fault which another garage had previously told me was related to the age of my car! Everything with SMS Motors was transparent, and John kept me fully informed prior to, during and after delivery of the car. Very grateful for such a professional and trustworthy service. A huge credit to the industry.

   I had my clutch fitted by John today and he arrived at my house at the time he said, it took a couple of hours then brought my car back. It was so easy and reliable and so much more affordable than where I got quoted elsewhere. Having 2 small children this made my life so much easier and less stressful then having to arrange someone to get me to a garage and back. I only booked a couple of days before the date which was great for me as I’m so last minute with these sort of things! So thank you so much for your service I’ll definitely book back again when needed.

   Used SMS for an MOT and Full Service via Click Mechanic. The car was collected on time and the works completed. Extra work which was needed was communicated to me at all times which required my approval before any works were carried out. Afterwards the car was delivered to me as arranged. Good communication throughout from Jon and his team and over a short journey so far no issues with the car. On this basis I would recommend SMS and would not hesitate to use myself again. A very good door to door service.

   Really happy with the service from SMS. They kept me up to date with what was happening with my van, they arrived within the given timeframe for both pick up and drop off of my vehicle and got it back to me as quickly as they could. Would 100% recommend and use again if I need some work doing.
