If your searching for a independent report on your faulty sofas / suite look no further,I have used barrdale now 2 times over the years. They are extremely professional and do a full detailed report,if like myself been given there's nothing we can do,or they keep sending out home serve to repair Your sofas,big company's do this We were on our second suite also faulty,this has taken 6 month of fighting to prove this sofa wasn't fit for purpose, I called barrdale ,they did a fantastic report,and full refund and cost of the report which may I say is very reasonable, they are 40 years in business which in our present clim is rare. Still waiting for a response to emails and calls requesting a visit for an inspection. Initial call was really helpful but have not heard back since I tried to book an appointment.
We had quality issues with a new 3 piece suite from Furniture Village. FV came out and carried out an inspection and dismissed our complaint. I employed the services of Barrdale, Dale carried out a full and thorough inspection and produced a comprehensive report. I presented the report to FV. Eventually FV contacted me and offered to replace the furniture. I declined their offer and said I wanted a full refund and the cost of Barrdales inspection cost. They agreed and uplifted the furniture and refunded all costs.
I contacted this company in a state of panic after I spilled acetone on my dining table. I was immediately assured not to worry that it was something they could sort out for me. They asked for a picture of the damage so they could assess the damage and give me quote. They were very prompt in their response and after agreeing on the price arranged a day and time to collect it. They were very careful when coming into my property and always kept a distance and both were wearing masks. The table was taken away and I received a phone call when it had been done to arrange delivery. I was amazed when I got my table back it looked better than ever. I was really pleased. I would highly recommend them, but just one bit of advice, remember that all prices quoted are not inclusive of vat. I thought the price I was given was the price that I would pay but looking further down their email it does mention that vat is not included
I contacted Barrdale Furniture in November to enquire about carrying out an independent inspection of my defective 9week old leather settee, as I was getting nowhere with the retailer. Dale offered very profound professional, complimentary advice, on steps to take before proceeding down the Inspection route. I immediately followed his advice to the letter and by the end of the day, the retailer had contacted me with an offer to settle. Imagine how valuable a detailed report, with findings ,would be if Barrdale was employed to carry out a full inspection. I have no doubts about employing Barrdale Furniture in the future and highly recommend this company.
We have a lovely large coffee table that needed sorting out, has at some point in the past it had been varnished very dark. We contacted Barrdale's they came out to take a look and said they could sort it out for us. Well the job they have done is amazing,to say I am happy with it is an understatement. It is beautiful beyond my expectations of what it could look like. We are having an art deco wall clock done next as the quality of the workmanship is stunning. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to everyone. Thank you to all who worked on our table.
