Catching up with friends on a night out … great bar - fantastic staff, great selection of drinks and friendly atmosphere,
Nice place on the edge of the monton stretch. We only came here for a drink but looks like a great place. Would look forward to coming back another time to try the food.
Came in Sun 13th April. Great experience. Greeted by a lovely young man working the bar. Friendly, efficient and polite. Will definitely be back.
Had a nice bottle of decent wine. Nice decor and lighting. Lots of dark wood and nice pictures. A bit like a long, slim lobby of a small boutique hotel. A Thursday night and was not too busy - for me that’s perfect. Only stools no chairs. Not conducive when you want people to stay. Disinterested bar man, polite enough but glued to his laptop when not serving, looked bored as hell. Mixed clientele - a group of men shouting and swearing. A tale of two bars…

Top spot for quality beer and wine with an Italian feel. Relaxed yet upmarket atmosphere for couples or drinks with friends. Definitely recommend.
I had a beer here on the 19th of July, the weather was hot outside, so I plucked up enought courage to leave my home, I have crippling anxiety and PTSD, so find it very difficult to leave my home. When I went to the bar, I asked the bar man what the beer was like, he said it was a holsted beer, I asked him was like a budwiser or a carling, he said he did not know, and he was the manager Steve. I then noticed it was quite, which then he said, yeh, its 3pm on a Tuesday. This comment made me feel like I was a looser for having a beer at that time. He was very abrupt. It took every ounce of courage to go out. Not that it matters much if I dont go back, if anyone else who stuggles with mental health stay clear of here.
Nice place, good for a calm, quite drink with friends. They serve a nice Italian beer called menabrea but it was off tap when we went. However my campari spritz were gorgeous!
Delightful wine bar at the start of the Monton strip. Great selection of wines - limited beer selection. Hip and trendy staff and decor.
