   I can not thank this gentleman enough for giving me my life back. I had been waiting nearly 2 years for the NHS to decide a cause of action and still had no news of an operation date so I investigated my options with Dr Slade and THANK GOD I did!!!!! On meeting Dr Slade he was welcoming and I felt at ease. He gave me the time I needed to breathe and relax and tell my story. He did everything in his power to go through all my options as I was planning on children but unfortunately with my best interests in mind he advised me on a full hysterectomy!!! That’s mustn’t of been easy to advise me as I was also going through the loss of my mum but he was supportive confident and assuring and I knew what he was telling me was important and essential to my personal health. Everything up to the operation was clear. My operation took place at the BMI Alexander hospital in Cheadle and again Dr Slade went through everything again clearly and thoroughly so I was clear in everything. Also seeing me daily after the operation until my discharge. I’m now almost a week post op now and I just feel grateful I found this man. I have my health and life back and ill be forever grateful to him for being their to help me. Many thanks again Vickie McCloy

   I have been seeing Mr Slade for a number of years and I can honestly say he is one of the most caring and sympathetic doctors I have ever met. Mr Slade always listens to your concerns, considers your opinions and offers support and advice. Even when I received some 'not so great' news Mr Slade made me feel assured and confident that the procedure I required would be a success. Highly recommend Mr Slade to women of all ages (I am 44yrs old and I have been seeing him for the past 9 years).

   Mr Slade is clearly a skilled and very experienced Obstetrician. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Slade when I was referred over 18 months ago with Gynaecological problems which ended in a full hysterectomy November 2018. From the very first initial contact with Mr Slade I felt at ease. Mr Slade is very approachable and knowledgeable and he answered any queries that I had in making the decision for my operations with great support and compassion. The level of care I experienced whilst under the care of Mr Slade and his team, especially Pam his secretary was second to none. I would highly recommend Mr Slade and would like to thank him and his team for the great care and support I received.
