Run down and neglected property. Were unable to find the cottage as there was no signage and the directions given were not accurate. Finally gave up and had to call someone to show us where we were staying. The cottage was run down and in need of a deep clean otherwise it could be lovely as the location is very beautiful. The price was right though as it wasn't worth any more.

Dog friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in one of the barns which was cute, granted small, but great for a few days when you're out and about anyway. I was actually quite impressed with what they'd done with an old barn. The grounds are beautiful with countryside for miles surrounding them. It's very quiet and relaxing. Definitely be careful when driving up the road to this as it is bumpy. Some of it is clearly being renovated, and some of the reviews on here are clearly from ignorant people, I can imagine it's not easy to renovate such a large place quickly.

absolutely disgusting. There was holes in the caravan floor, toilet seat was completely broken off and wires sticking out of the wall. We were offered an upgrade to a cottage which was just as bad. Bugs crawling all over the floors, door was broken and all damp and mould in the bathroom. was told we would get a complete refund which I'm still waiting for 2 weeks later. I would not let my worst enemy stay here it was terrable. Women I spoke to on the phone was very rude and ignorant. I have only put one star as it wouldn let me post with out putting one.

Pros: coffee, milk, tea and roof above your head. Low price. Quiet area and good location to explore nearby castles, safari and pucturesque parks. Friendly and relaxed hosts. Cons: see photos that speak for themselves. Don’t expect hot water and be prepared to climb to your caravan as there is no stairs (they lost keys to the main door). Oven is out of order. Access road in a very bad condition. The owner should really invest in mattress protectors. If you are looking for a budget accomodation, go for it. Otherwise go somewhere else.

On arrival was shocked by the "Sword of Damocles" hanging from the arch (Corrugated iron sheet) and the state of the whole place in general at the outside. We wanted to have a weekend getaway on the budget and from the photos on their website & booking sites it looked okay. The room was small but at least clean(ish), downside that there is no window (=no air) so woke up few times feeling suffocating. Could hear every move of the guests above almost like we shared the same room. If they would spend some time to make the yard look okay this place would be fine, but hard to get over the first impression of giant potholes, crashed car, run down out buildings.

Couldn't wait to leave. Beggars belief how 2 grown adults are asked to actually pay for that room slightly bigger than the bed. Hardly slept due to the sloping mattress whose springs I feared would impale me. It's clear that mattress is the worst they could find and is extremely old. Only one side of the bed is accessible so be ready for gymnastics. If you're willing to stay in a cupboard under the stairs, risk your neck negotiating the stairs, expose yourself in front of the not so opaque glass leading into the shared corridor and breathe shallow to conserve the rooms oxygen (no window) then you may consider if sleeping on a park bench would be more appealing. Absolutely dreadful and should be closed.
