They answered any questions and put you at ease. I would recommend that if given the chance go to Clifton Park Hospital for your treatment.

   I was offered a cancellation date on Monday 21st October for Monday 27th October for a knee anthroscopy. I went for my pre op on Tuesday 22nd October at the new outpatients dept. I recieved my admission details which were comprehensive. From entering the hospital and speaking to the receptionist, all staff are so friendly, helpful and caring. Your every need is catered for and explained in detail. You are assigned a nurse who takes your BP etc. The Consultant explains your procedure, the anethetist gives you options for your anesthesia and preferred pain relief. The theatre staff and recovery staff make you feel at ease. Coming back after the operation the nursing staff attend to your needs. On discharge Jo the ward sister gives you all you will need for your recovery at home. The hospital should be proud of their reputation, it is a great place to have an operation.

   I had my second knee replacement under the care of Mr Cash in September. Everyone at the hospital were really kind and caring. Mr Cash explains everything in layman’s terms and is very approachable. A good experience all round.

   I had a hip replacement done recently at clifton park hospital, I cannot recommend this hospital enough , I was under the care of Mr Lodge for my surgery and he was so reassuring, explaining everything what was going to be done etc i felt at ease . Also the Anesthetics team I had were fantastic and quite funny which made me at ease too , Also to the nurses who looked after me before and after surgery they are a very caring team . And I thank you all while I was under your care.

   I was telephoned at the begining of June and given an appointment for a pre opp on Friday 24th June at 13:30 I phoned earlier in the morning to ask if I had the time correct and which building I would be at as there are two buildings to the hospital the lady on the phone said it would be at equinox house but said she could not check the time as she was in the middle of something I arrived for my appointment at 13:20 went to the reception to tell them I had arrived giving my name and date of birth they said that they could not find me on the system or any paperwork and was told I would not be seen it was their fault and I am the one who suffers it's not acceptable to treat patients like this I hope this does not reflect things to come THE NEXT STEP so finally had pre opp and that went fine i then had to attend on the 14 July to pick up a prescription they gave me the prescription I drove 2 miles across town to the pharmacy on my way home only to find that it was not validated as they had not stamped it I had to drive all the way back again to get it stamped when I told them their mistake there were no apologies just there it's stamped now this is not the professionalism I expect from such an establishment

   I was a patient recently at clifton Park were I had my second knee replacement performed expertly by Mr hunt and his team ( he has done them both ) the surgery went very well my after care was excellent and all the staff were very caring and friendly .I cannot recommend them highly enough especially the physio staff who got me mobile very quickly and the nurses .Claire. Spaniards chloe .not forgetting William .thank you all .Steve

   I had a total knee replacement in November 2020. The care that I received was second to none, from the reception staff, the operator, cleaning staff, ward staff, physiotherapists, x-ray, laboratory staff, theatre and medical team and the nursing staff. If I have missed anyone out,my apologies. Everything was clean and sanitised. All the staff were friendly, helpful and thoroughly professional. Everything was explained to me and there was always help when I needed it. Here I am about 4 months postop and everything is going really well. I am still trying to get more flexion so that i can ride both my push bike and motorcycle. Nearly there. I am walking much better than I have been able to for over 15 years. Thank you to all the staff who made this all possible. I give thanks for you and pray that you will all stay safe and well. Regards Mac McLoughlin

   I have just arrived home after having a total knee replacement operation. And I cannot praise all the staff at ramsay enough. From arrival until I left all the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. And nothing to much trouble. A huge thank you to everybody from Mr gibbons and his team. To all the ward staff you were brilliant. I highly recommend the ramsay hospital.
